Hello there! I currently have Steven in two different games: empatheias (which currently has reserves for Pearl, Amethyst and Lapis; also he'll be getting Lion back soon) and entranceway (which also has Lapis, Peridot and Pearl currently). I'd love to have Lars in either game!
Of the two, I Entranceway feels slower to me. There are two week gaps between events, and not all of them need to be taken part in. As for Empatheias, it's a big game, but it's also a game where you can take on as much or as little as you want, and it's very backtag-friendly. Entranceway's AC is one post + four seven-comment threads spread out over a two month period, while Empatheias's AC is ten comments split across at least two sources or an open post plus seven comments.
And in terms of premise, Entranceway is a setting based on Wonderland in which everyone lives in a mansion, and most of the events are based on the canon memories of the in-game characters. It also comes with an option to create a mirror version of your character. As for Empatheias, it is set on a floating island above a mostly-ruined world and is a setting where characters' emotions have physical effects on the world around them. It has an ongoing plot about helping the world and solving the mysteries of its past, but it's also has plenty of room for slice-of-life things.
