Hey there! Welcome to DW! I hope you have fun with us. If you don't mind, I wanted to comment here to give you a heads-up. This place is to find new games and I want you to find one easily, so something to take into account:
>>> Slack or Hangouts group chat You won't find this here. We use plurk or discord. Maybe a player or two will give you their personal Slack/Hangouts to chat, but it won't be group chats. You aren't obliged to join those sites, you can use the ooc comm of the games to communicate and that's it! But if you like chat groups with your playmates, those are the way to go.
>>> Para style We don't have the whole "para style" here either, at least not in games, you can ask for a psl partner that sticks to long tags. In games, tags are usually of the length that matches the topic. Action tags are usually a bit longer, but even those can stay short if they're just like, having tea or something. You won't find a whole game that sticks to long tags - usually the network comm is more short and spammy, and the log comm has longer stuff, but they aren't hard rules and they vary. One thread can have both in one day.
>>> Detail heavy bios Only OCs do that! Fandom characters usually link the history to a wiki page, and the main description is about personality. And this is talking about game apps - each game has different standards on word count, but don't be surprise if a character journal has no bio/info at all. Many games screen their apps too, so it's not something you'll even have access to.
