holy shit belgarion!!! please allow me to direct ur attention to faderift which is a dragon age based game which allows but doesn't require AU - characters can be "rifted" in from their canons, we do rifter app rounds bi-monthly and the next one is in June! our latest tdm is here and honestly i just love garion, my dude. (one of my first characters in fade rift was from the elenium/tamuli, eddings rpers fistbump.)

there's some nerfing but not total power loss - garion for instance would experience limitations similar to native mages, and find that things he can do which have no native equivalent would be much, much more difficult than he's used to them being.
