ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Hello!

While I am super biased towards Chie, over at maskormenace, I'm sure your other characters could fit there as well. Castmate wise, there's Yu, Yosuke and Adachi, along with some P2 (Eikichi and Tatsuya), P3 (Shinjiro and Minako) and P5s (Akira, Goro, Futaba, Haru, Morgana, Yusuke and with a Ryuji soon). As you can see they clearly need more girls.

Characters are allowed to pick 3 powers for their character, so Chie's Persona would count as one of those. Which means you could give her additional powers like if you want her kicks to be super-powered that could be fun. Yu, for example, has a power that lets him teleport in any screen-based object (so a television or a computer), and a bond-based powers along with his Izanagi usage.

As for speed it varies! Some events are fast, and some can be a little slower. People backtag like there's no tomorrow. I've been having a lot of fun there!

Well Eikichi and Tatsuya are running around with Featherman powers because P2 is very heavy on Featherman being plot important (it is how they get their ultimate personas, with masks they had as kids) so GO BE THE SUPERHERO YOU WANT CHIE!!!!!

ALSO as a note I am also in Recolle if you want to talk and are interested about that!! I'm there as Eikichi and he's a Youtube superstar with two family siblings so if you ever want to have Chie be a Youtube superstar that lived in Canada before, lemme know haha. So you know you're stuck with me somewhere.

Well, I am also pretty biased towards Chie at recolle since I play Yukiko and we're missing Chie, Teddie, and Kanji to have the full IT. However! Saber would be ultra-cool to have around and I think our cast would be happy to have her too.

Recolle is a relatively large game with a medium pace, and it's a memory loss/regain game where characters begin with a modern AU and regain their memories of their past life. The same for powers and such, so you'd just gain them back by playing. The game is a fair mix of plot revolving around characters discovering their past lives and how they were reincarnated, etc, and slice of life in a modern city setting.

Please give us a look, and let me know if you have any questions! We do a workshop for AU planning to help pre-plan CR out and figure out things, and the game is incredibly welcoming to new players.

I'll admit I'm a slight bit anxious since I don't think I'm too particularly creative when it comes to AU ideas, but compared to say Saber it really shouldn't be too big of a deal since the Persona crew already come from a modern setting as is. 'w'

Plus the appeal of that many castmates is very alluring. Is the AU workshop the primary place AUs are discussed? 🤔

Hey don't worry about it. My AU for Yukiko wasn't terribly creative at all! Her family runs a B&B in the city, and immigrated from Japan to the city when she was like, 6. That was really it! AUs don't have to be super complex, especially for modern characters like the Persona gang.

The AU workshop is generally where that happens, though some people come with plans made via PM, plurk and discord. I can give you my info if you want and we could talk and see if we can hash out something?

Plurk I feel is the most common form of OOC communication, so you'd get the most mileage out of it, imo. It's a social media site though, and if you're against having a social media footprint you don't have to use it. Discord's a chat program like AIM and so requires downloads.

There is so much I want here, but I'll stick to what I play.

I play Alice Margatroid and Sayaka over at empatheias. We get a bunch of new people every month and it's easy to catch up on things. We have a TDM that starts in the middle of every month. We... have SOME power nerfing, but it's mostly to stop the completely over the top stuff. I believe we have the pace you want, exceptions for events and such, as normally things proceed at a steady pace.

As for the AC... considering the pace, I'd say it's moderate? Probably more on the lax side than strict, but it does make it so you HAVE to be doing things, in some part.

For the setting, it's a world that has faced hardship in the past. The land is asunder and work to recover and rediscover is abound. To do this, the power of emotions is used, as they affect the world in both obvious and not so obvious ways. Angry? Fire may start. Stressed out? Quakes might be a thing. Happy? Sparkling air or flowers may start to show up. There's more, but that's honestly far more than I'd be willing to go into for an ad.

Now, you might be thinking that I might want a certain person there a whole lot. What with replying with this account and all.

The premise for the game sounds fun, especially considering (just as an offhand example) it'd be very hard for Kyouko to hide her emotions which could lead to a lot of fun stuff. Especially when she's got arguably the person she ends up closest to at the end already there.

I'll definitely be giving the game more of a once or twice over and when the TDM eventually rolls around that'll be when I place Kyouko there and see how things work out. It's by no means a promise unfortunately, but at the absolute very least we'll be able to bounce off each other on the TDM. 'w'

Sayaka has been doing an excellent job of bottling things up and growing more numb to how much her life sucks, so someone who can tap into all that (without bringing about some kind of murderous rage you know, like someone small and white) would be a kind of fresh air for her.

Well, technically the TDM is already rolled out, if just very close to when
apps start. I do realize that the timing for this meme and the way our apps work aren't the most aligned... but it's not really something I can help.
