have you considered empatheias? there aren't a ton of huge mod run events but the mods do have at least one a month which include exploration of new locations, festivals, competitions, travel, etc. and there's a monthly task board which can include solving murders, reading contests, spying, building things, fetch quests, monster hunting, and so on. there's also a small and steady overwatch cast!
