FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, where characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; what you take on is up to you! There are opportunities to explore the world and uncover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, plus events that can play with the characters’ emotions.
Steven has been in the game for almost two years, having made many friends in the setting and regained Lion, while Pearl is a more recent arrival who has been adjusting to life on the island! Their respective current canon points are Kevin Party and Mr. Greg.
AC is also very simple, with ten comments (or an open post + seven comments) that can be spread across multiple links. If there are any questions about the game, feel free to ask!

Zhautas is an 18+ panfandom sci-fi/exploration smut game with horror elements. It's a mish-mash of the strange, sexy, and spooky. It is set on the planet #05031941 - common name designated as 'Zhautas' - which is considered ideal for the next phase of clinical trials in finding a cure for the mystery disease ravaging the multiverse.
Zhautas is a former resort planet turned research facility. It has diverse ecosystems ranging from biting cold tundra to scorching hot deserts. There are even land masses suspended in the air and creatures dwelling in the darkest depths of its ocean. Characters will get to explore all that these new areas have to offer every couple of months.
The indigenous species of the planet are allowing the Zenith Corporation to conduct their research here under the condition that they are allowed to be involved as well. Despite this seemingly mutual agreement, it will quickly become clear that things are a bit tenser than they first appear between the natives and the Zenith Corporation. Add a whole slew of new fresh-faced "volunteers" to shake things up and who's to say what might happen...

[game info]: An old-school jamjar set in a world based on Alice in Wonderland, where characters are spirited away to Wonderland and must endure the Mansion slowly siphoning their memories and having them projected for others- we ran a Reaper invasion event last month and there was a trip to the Citadel last year! There's also a great modplot going between the Queens, some mysteries to uncover, and lots of stuff to play with... not to mention the Mirrors hiding behind the glass. Shepard's been there two years so she's very old hat, but would looove to see some old faces for her crew. AC is bimonthly and consists of an open post + 24 comments across at least 4 threads. Our current test drive is here and I'm happy to answer any questions!

If I had to pick a handful of faves tho I'd say Rena, Elsword, Ara, Ciel, Eve or Elesis! seriously though anyone would be amazing, hell give me El Masters or background NPCs I'll take anyone I love them all
[game info]: TFS is based on the manga/anime Noragami, so familiarity with the series is a plus but not necessary! The gist of it is that characters are apped in as either Gods or Shinki. God characters take on the role of a god from any religion/mythology (including fictional gods!) and are given their own temple, a cool superpower of your choosing, and are assigned a shinki character to serve and protect them. Shinki characters lose all their memories on arrival (though they can regain portions of their memories by spending activity points OOCly) and are assigned to a god character, and with the help of said god character they can be transformed into a "vessel" (anything from weapons to animals to random everyday objects) that has a cool superpower of your choosing. Much more detailed info on the roles of gods/shinki can be found in the game's FAQ, but that's the short version!
The game has a very laid-back pace and a 2:1 day ratio, which is great if you ever need to take a hiatus or like to do a lot of backtagging! The genre is also a bit "choose your own adventure" in that there's a lot of options for slice of life, action, horror, missions and quests to complete, a touch of politics, etc., but you can easily choose which things you're most interested in and focus on those over others. I'm super into horror and investigations into the plot/setting, for example, so I tend to play up a lot of the more horrific aspects of the god/shinki roles when I can and focus more on investigating plot stuff ICly over other types of events.
TL;DR:
- 2:1 day ratio
- Medium/slow-paced (depends on who you tag, it's a big game)
- Elements of SoL, horror, action/missions, and an overarching game plot
- No powerloss/humanization
- OPTIONAL memloss w\ regains

Add is currently acting as the god Henir with Ain as his shinki! I'd love to have more castmates as either gods or shinki (though Henir's temple is getting a bit crowded so I may have to decline any more shinki-partners for him h-hahaha), and if you need any help figuring out the game's mechanics/setting I'm familiar with Noragami as well and would be happy to help!

Here is our game ad so I don't sound very repetitive! Basically, DF is a game about visiting different planets and going in adventures, plus good old classic wacky shenanigans. The game is small and very relaxed, slow paced with super easy AC. Full navigation on the profile! DF requires an invitation to app but we can get you one! Apps are always open.
Note on new seasons: S5 is now appable, and for s6, two months must pass to app from (or update to) that canon point, in case any Lotors want to have that in mind when it comes to his relationship with the paladins. We'll update to a more cr-friendly canon point in the future! Everyone is still welcome of course, just throwing a heads up out there.

The game is a mix of slice of life and adventure, where characters have the option of making a life within the city, or exploring the ruins of the wider world in the hopes of learning what might have happened to it.

Empatheias is set on a floating island above a ruined wasteland of a world, where their emotions can have effects on the environment around them, both good and bad! As far as the setting goes, it's a mix of both plot and slice of life, with plenty of opportunities for both. Events are monthly, and can range from large-scale excursions where plot unfolds, to festivals where the characters get to unwind and reflect, and anything in between. In between, there's plenty of room for characters to tackle task-like jobs to earn rewards and money and even for player plots to go down, both personal and game-wide. All in all, it's a game where you have a lot of freedom to do what you want within the setting to use it to develop your character in the way you want.
It's a medium-large game, but moves at a medium-slow pace. AC is monthly, consisting of either an entry and at least one (separate) thread with seven comments from you, or two threads with a total of ten comments. [game info]: Wilderlands is a panfandom, quest-based fantasy RP game set in a hodgepodge world that once was where the spirit of every forest lived, but after some unknown catastrophe, now chunks of the different worlds where different fantasy forests existed have been magically displaced and crammed together. This means the characters might find themselves in chunks of displaced fantasy worlds like Middle-Earth, Discworld, the Cedar Forest of Princess Mononoke, the Wizarding World, and more. The characters are tasked by the spirit of the Green and the spirits of the four seasons to fix the Wilderlands and save the heart of every forest, or else nature on every world will die. They're bound together as a group by magic that prevents them from separating, forcing them to make decisions as a group and work together.

[game info]: The Darkness is a small, private game slightly based on Kingdom Hearts, as in, the basic premise of Kingdom Hearts of interconnected worlds and Heartless is there, but you don't really need to have a super deep knowledge of the games to understand the plot (I mean, I know nothing about KH and I can get it lol).
There are many worlds in the game to be explored, from the Disney worlds you expect to more character-specific p-laces like Silent Hill, Equestria and so on. Right now there's a fear event going on, but soon things are going to simmer down a bit and be more pleasant. Also there isn't a lot of people/muns in it (despite the cast being quite big), so it's not as overwhelming as larger games and everyone is pretty tight knit!

[game info]: The Wake is a panfandom fantasy games that takes place in another world. One where someone can create almost anything based on will power and even gain/regain powers. They have been called to "awaken" from their worlds and it's up to them to watch over other worlds, as well as change and grow.
The game is heavily focused on character development as that's the key to characters getting stronger over time. It's mostly slice of life, but it does have an ongoing metaplot (which the next one is happening in the near future).
AC is pretty easy, with 12 comments (or 2 threads containing 6 comments), with a system where you can reuse a piece two times (with limitations of course). It's also very backtag friendly. The pace is slow to medium.

Melodies of Eternity is a Final Fantasy based, plotty game that's the sequel to Melodies of Life. Characters appear in a space called The Dream Width and are rescued. While none know why they're here they're trying to piece things together. But something is coming if the warnings are to be believed...
Characters will help shape the course of events and will ultimately decide the fate of this star. Game ad for all the relevant details. There's some stuff to keep track of like ac, exp, and regains, but it's fairly easy to get into! Characters are allowed to choose the jobs they take on to learn new skills in place of their old ones.
Latest Test drive is over here. Reserves are open. Ac is one of the following: 10 comments (logs), 20 comments (net), 1 open post with at least 5 comments (logs or mognet). Players can easily submit player plots or side quests that earn you a little more exp! I'll go ahead and mention game imports or aus are allowed.
So Voltron cast wise, Shiro has the Black Bayard and the Black Lion. Both paladins are signed up to become Airship pilots (rather Hunk will and Shiro is in the process). Hunk did spill what he knew to Shiro about the future which is uh, not much but has made him pretty paranoid. He has a lot of questions and no answers.

The game is slice-of-life that offers exploration, missions, and monster fighting for those wanting some action even if there is no overarching plot. AC is relatively simple at 10 comments (5 comments of 150+ words works as well) in one thread. There's a holiday/festival-related mingle set up near the beginning of each month and some sort of exploration one in the middle to help things along.
I would recommend placing a reserve for those who might be interested as they usually take priority when the apps are processed. There's also a TDM going on if anyone just wants to give the setting a try.

[game info]: Deerington is a fictional American town that is nestled in Maine. The town is coincidentally a nexus in which all characters seem to be connected through a collective dreamscape. The game pulls elements from classic and contemporary horror and psychological thrillers, as well as providing new, intriguing mysteries and monsters. Deerington is an opportunity to explore characters psychologically and what it means for them to be sentient beings in a setting that challenges their self-perspective as well as their perspective of reality. This is a game where characters themselves might just become their own worst enemies.
The game is pretty medium-paced with an emphasis on character interactions and the consequences of their actions. It's a great game for anyone who is a fan of horror and would enjoy fourth-wall elements that involve characters examining themselves rather than super cracky events. Player Plots/Overarching Meta plot with slice of life
The Wake is where characters 'wake up' in a nexus sorry Doctors no time sight here and need to learn how to survive/coop with this new way of life. The main point of this game is character growth. Characters are encouraged to learn and grow beyond canon in however which why they might based on the in-game influencing factors.
Powers are able to regain abilities but not game breaking powers; example time sight. However, characters are also allowed to learn abilities they never had in canon. For instance; shapeshifting. When characters Ascend; aka the character growth, those characters are able to learn higher abilities, like being able to Fly or Teleport. As well as being able to travel to other worlds and fixing flaws (A Player Plot)
The story of the game itself is that there was a war with god like beings, one of those god-like beings in secret became the game setting (Nautilus) and therefore Nautilus is an actual living being that is conscious but don't worry most of the time Nautilus are like the majority of the Time Lords and doesn't interfere.
Activity check is relatively relaxed, and put simply it is two pieces of the following;

Fairy Tail @ Genessia

[wanted]: anyone from the Fairy Tail guild itself would be wonderful! Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Juvia, Elfman, Lisanna, Makarov... I could go on and on, but you get the point. (though, given the castmates, special shout-outs go out to Natsu, Elfman, and Lisanna)
For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August, Eileen, or Brandish).
Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)
[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are in charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.
The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, all of the Fairy Tail cast is living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and they've managed to recruit a few new members from other worlds!
From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!
Dragon Ball @ Genessia

[wanted]: we might also be getting a Vegeta (though that's not certain by any means), so as far as castmates are concerned, some major options would include Gohan, Krillin, or Android 16. (as well, Goten and Kid Trunks would make things especially confusing for other characters, given that Future Trunks and two versions of Goku are there)
Dr. Gero or Android 21 could be interesting, given their connection to the game’s cast. (Gero in particular is responsible for the creation of three of them, and the bad future that three others hail from) As far as long-shots go, I've always wanted to play Goku off of Roshi (I really like their dynamic, and Super helped to build that up), the Universe 6 Saiyans, or Chi-Chi, and any of Goku's Saiyan family would be great, since they don't really get explored outside of video games.
[game info]: Genessia is a slice of life game set in five different cities which are connected by portals. Nobody knows why they've been brought there, though characters have the option of trying to figure that out. Otherwise, there are mod plots and player plots that happen regularly. As a whole, the game is quite easy-going, with a lot of room for creativity. More information about it can be found here.
Applications and Activity Check are both insanely easy. For applications, you post your character's name to the taken list, and you're good to go. Activity Check happens once every few months, and you just post that you're still interested in playing as that character. As long as you've posted regularly and are staying in character, that's all you need to worry about.

Memory loss and power nerfing are both optional, and the game explores the silly, slice of life aspects of the series as well as the darker, more serious ones.
