FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

It definitely depends on the planet! Mods keep it varied. For example right now we are on one that has a secret under the mist and monster to fight. But the last was a planet dedicated to all kinds of competitions so it was more "go out there and have fun". The planets always have a list of attractions, so it's never *just* mountains. You can see the different places we've visited here, if that helps to get a better idea of the game. We usually have a drifting (travelling) period between systems, too, to let us finish our planet threads and do quiet stuff in the ships if we want.

We do and I can't believe it either! :D Ulaz helps Shiro's stress. Haggar doesn't.

Okay, that's good! I like go out and explore shenanigans but I also really like having something concrete to work towarsd. Just by reading this it looks like they put a lot of thought into these systems too. Also I'm reading that regains are a thing? Is that something that would be applied to the mice, potentially?

HAGGAR IS MY QUEEN. Not Allura's, obviously, but...that's so wonderful. And understandably Shiro wouldn't be having a good day. (But I feel like that's kind of par for the course for him.)

Regains are indeed a thing, and you can use it for the bayard (they can keep the armor when they arrive but no weapons), the mice, or any item from home as long as it covers certain rules (size and power mostly, nothing too restrictive). But I should clarify that "regains" aren't a system in place, but something that happens every now and then if the planet calls for it. So depending on when you app, you can get it back quickly or will have to wait some months. Most people in the fleet have pets, both adopted in systems and from homes, so the mice won't be alone! Shiro has an alien dog, Lance has a fish and an otter, Keith has a leopard and in the future he'll get the s6 thingy.

Oh we're definitely the opposite of rushed. We're a slow game and AC is ten comments in two thread, so backtagging is the rule.

Ahh, I gotcha. I'll have to read up more on the game mechanics, but I'm definitely interested! I'm so glad that they all have pets. Shiro seems like a dog person, but Lace has an otter? That's wonderful. Part of me hopes it's one of those giant amazonian river otters because they are mildly terrifying.

SHE IS GOOD and also continuously the only one who seems to have a full idea of what's going on, but I digress. Ulaz is a good. Allura only trusted him because Shiro did and that did pay off in the end.

Read away, no pressure! We're here for whatever else you need. Also I just remembered that we had Allura but for like a month, and there's a staff they got for her in a planet (this was before s3 pfft) so that thing will be waiting for a new princess to claim it. :') Shiro is totally a dog person nobody can take that headcanon from my hands! He wakes up at 6am to go for runs with his dog. Back before canon he did the same. He's a dork like that. And lmao no it's just a little cute otter that likes to swim in the pool with Lance. He's called Oliver, which is an improvement over Keith calling his snow leopard Snow.

Please don't digress, this canon having someone that fully knows what the quiznak is going on is a miracle. And yes it did! If Allura comes Shiro will like, grab her and maker her apologize to Ulaz with the most scolding mom of looks. :I

And don't worry, Shiro wouldn't need to convince her to. She has a much better understanding of the Blade and sees them as valuable allies now. She would offer her apologies as well as thank him for everything he's done.

But! I have been reading up quite a bit. I do like the premise--there's a lot more to this than I realized! I actually like the AC spreadsheet concept for check ins too. I am very tempted...I'll take a look at the TDM :)

And yes, other people have regained pets, it depends on circumstances, or a size related issue too; the mice should be fine, but they can't get Kaltenecker for example.

But yessss. As they said, Allura can definitely regain her mice at some point when a regain thing pops up! We actually have one on the planet system they just got to rightr now, haha.

Yep! We'll be on one system for a while, then drift in space to the next place for a bit, then enter a new system...etcetc. So there's a lot to do, and every system has been really unique and fun so far! You get your slice of life planets, your plot heavy planets, fun planets, scary planets... I mean, heck, we went from a place with evil cannibals to a place with marshmallow snow once. Or the other way around. Idk I can't remember but either way.

The system we're on now has a plot going on with the mist and a monster to fight, so you've got some serious stuff to work with if you want to. Otherwise, there's tons of other stuff you can do planetside, and the mods are really good about giving a ton of detail on things to do.

LANCE'S OTTER IS THE BEST. Oliver is A+++, him and Lance are at the one of the ship's pools every day to swim. He's adorable except for waking Lance up at the asscrack of dawn for food sometimes (Keith's snow leopard too, at that). Sob. His poor beauty sleep.

It really sounds like it! I think you guys may have convinced me to give the TDM a shot.
