FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

Hey there! So,

melodiesofeternity has a little bit of everything--slice of life, adventure, drama, even some mystery--all in a setting heavily inspired by Final Fantasy. Chocobos, moogles, ridiculous job classes, the works. The game is still in its early stages, but we already have a downright massive cast, so there's plenty of opportunities for CR. Activity check is very lax, requiring 10 tags spread among up to 3 threads in the primary game community, 20 tags spread among up to 3 threads in the internet equivalent community (you can mix and match between these two, the exchange rate is 2 Mognet tags to 1 in-game tag), or an open toplevel that has 5 or more comments total on it.

The newest test drive is up if you want to take a look at that, reservations are also available at this time if you're interested, and applications are open on August 1st if you decide you want in. Your Battle Tendency!Joseph (especially your Battle Tendency!Joseph), Aizawa, and Izuku would be appreciated, but all of your muses sound delightful. CRAUs, AUs, and OCs are also accepted, but non-CRAU crossovers aren't. No matter if you decide to join up or not, I hope you have fun in your RP endeavors!

Of the members of his own cast, I only ship him with Archie, but if there's chemistry between Horatio and a male character who isn't in his canon I'm down to discuss shipping! I'm mostly interested in writing him in his own era, but I'm not totally opposed to modern AUs.

I enjoy threads based on interpersonal drama, especially ones that elaborate on canon dynamics or events. Texting threads are also fun!

GENERAL IDEAS: Life onboard the Indy! Stuff taking place during the quarantine in S01E02, the realities of combat on the mainland in #4, maybe shore leave or the drama of a major storm. Maybe also Horatio having to learn to ride? His level of skill extends to staying in the saddle on a reasonably well behaved animal, but he's not good at it overall and is rather self-conscious about his riding abilities (or, rather, his lack thereof).

FOR ARCHIE: Ship or gen! For shipping, slow-burn/will-they-won't-they are faves, as are situations in which both parties think their feelings are unrequited and don't want to risk losing the friendship (but things inevitably start heading closer to a romantic relationship anyway). Lots of possibilities for their time in El Ferrol, especially while Archie is recuperating from his attempt at self-starvation and Horatio's spending pretty much all of his time at his bedside - I think that in any interpretation that holds his feelings for Archie to extend beyond platonic, El Ferrol was the point at which Horatio's attachment to him progressed from "really, really fancying his best friend" to "in love". Stuff early in their friendship in which Horatio's still sort of figuring out his feelings for Archie (and perhaps the same for Archie himself) could also be fun.

FOR PELLEW: Father-son dynamic! Maybe Horatio does something that leaves Pellew disappointed in him but it's not something that he can technically be punished for, which puts him in an awkward position as Horatio's CO, or needs to come to him for advice and doesn't know how to do so.

FOR CLAYTON/SIMPSON/STYLES: Threads taking place onboard the Justinian pre-duel as Horatio tries to establish his place in the pecking order amidst the growing conflict are of particular interest here, as are threads that revolve around tensions getting higher during the quarantine, or maybe one taking place in El Ferrol.

FOR MAJ. EDRINGTON: Getting to know each other, and establishing a working partnership. I think that by the end of #4 Horatio feels fairly neutrally toward him, leaning on the direction of thinking well of him, and it's a pity we didn't see more interactions between the two. Threads that fill in the gaps onscreen or perhaps an alternate timeline in which the mainland fighting stretches on longer than expected are both of intererst.

Empatheias is set on a floating island above a ruined wasteland of a world, where their emotions can have effects on the environment around them, both good and bad! As far as the setting goes, it's a mix of both plot and slice of life, with plenty of opportunities for both. Events are monthly, and can range from large-scale excursions where plot unfolds, to festivals where the characters get to unwind and reflect, and anything in between. In between, there's plenty of room for characters to tackle task-like jobs to earn rewards and money and even for player plots to go down, both personal and game-wide. All in all, it's a game where you have a lot of freedom to do what you want within the setting to use it to develop your character in the way you want.

It's a medium-large game, but moves at a medium-slow pace. AC is monthly, consisting of either an entry and at least one (separate) thread with seven comments from you, or two threads with a total of ten comments. Despite the AU status, Pap is very much his wacky, over the top self, just with an added mad science twist. As for Frisk, they're a bit unorthodox in that they're pretty sassy, definitely troubled, and have a bit of a temper, but ultimately they still try to play the pacifist and try to do the right thing.

Less likely, but on the off chance anyone actually knows IF, AUmates would also be fantastic! I know Doom would love an IF Chara. Of course, if you'd rather pull from a different AU or even a CRAU, go for it! Native OCs are even a valid option. Overall, we're pretty darn relaxed in that aspect.
[game info]: Like adventure? Like fantasy? Like ongoing plots? Melodies of Eternity offers all of the above! The game is inspired by the Final Fantasy series, including beloved elements like Chocobos, Moogles, and a diverse job systems. While characters do lose their powers upon arrival, they can pick up jobs, with the opportunity for custom jobs with canon abilities coming soon to a game near you!

Characters are pulled from their homes into the world of Vaikuntha through a mysterious realm called the Dream Width, though the exact cause is yet unknown. So far we've had a fun range of events and player plots, from over the top competitions to puzzle solving dungeons and battles with pervy octopus beings and charming camping trips. It's a good mix of SoL and adventure, and the atmosphere is very laid back and the playerbase friendly! Even if you don't know Final Fantasy, the game is very accessible to newcomers with very detailed information to get people up to speed.

Our AC is 10 log comments or 20 network comments, so it's very flexible, but there are incentives for participation, like sweet EXP.
