FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. Empatheias is set on a floating island above a ruined wasteland of a world, where their emotions can have effects on the environment around them, both good and bad! As far as the setting goes, it's a mix of both plot and slice of life, with plenty of opportunities for both. Events are monthly, and can range from large-scale excursions where plot unfolds, to festivals where the characters get to unwind and reflect, and anything in between. In between, there's plenty of room for characters to tackle task-like jobs to earn rewards and money and even for player plots to go down, both personal and game-wide. All in all, it's a game where you have a lot of freedom to do what you want within the setting to use it to develop your character in the way you want.
It's a medium-large game, but moves at a medium-slow pace. AC is monthly, consisting of either an entry and at least one (separate) thread with seven comments from you, or two threads with a total of ten comments. It's a fairly low-tech setting but characters are encouraged to upgrade and expand - the setting is actually very fluid in that regard, as player interaction has a huge effect on the setting and NPCs. Empatheias is a game where emotions influence the environment and shape the world around you. There's some SOL, with an overarching plot and space to run your own player plots. For the most part, the core of this game is the playerbase decides where they want the world to go. There's lots of world building, with characters exploring and discovering more of the world outside of the starting city. Pacing-wise, from my experience it sits around mid-pace, with it picking up during events. You have two options to complete AC, 1 Entry and 7 comments from elsewhere, or 10 comments added up from two threads minimum. You only need to meet half AC the first month you app in!
Currently Reserves are open and applications will open between September 1st-4th and this is our current Test Drive!

[game info]: Melodies is a panfandom RP inspired by Final Fantasy games. You don't need to know about FF to enjoy the game, though. New characters show up in the Dream Width cloud and are rescued via airship by Biggs and Wedge. You then get to pick a job/role for your character (ie. Black Mage, Paladin, etc.) and set to work doing whatever you like.
There's a mix of SoL and plot-heavy stuff, so you can do one or the other or both. Activity is 10-20 comments or 1 post depending on the comm, and participating in events nets your character some EXP to further advance their jobs. The pace is about slow to medium but some people are willing to boomerang. AUs, CRAUs, and Native OCs are accepted! The game's a lot of fun, and everyone's super nice and chill. :)

[game info]: It's a superhero game. Characters are brought to a retro, 50s-inspired version of modern America, given super powers (that may or may not include abilities characters had in canon, depending on how players want to play it) and live alongside the powerless, boring human NPCs who treat them like celebrities. For the most part it's a decently paced game with a lot of different events, but there's enough freedom in the game for characters to do pretty much anything they want. It's very open world, for the most part.
Our Stiles is currently running a slow burn Nogitsune plot where Stiles is slowly becoming possessed and hopefully that's going to turn into a pretty chaotic mess before too long. The first real leg of that might start in the next month or two, and it would be fun to have a cast to play through that with together. [game info]: Acatalepsy is a slow-to-medium sized mission-based game focused on world hopping and exploration. Events take place over 6-8 weeks, and are focused on characters solving a problem in a world that they are placed into. While powers are nerfed in game, characters are given one ability of the player's choice. The game is extremely backtag friendly, and AC is tracked monthly at 20 comments. It's a very chill game, and everyone here is lovely.

The Far Shore is a pretty sizable game with a relaxed atmosphere and the ability to go searching for plot or go for more SOL. The AC is pretty easy imo, and a variety of different characters are more than welcome!
Characters enter in either one of two positions: a god or a dead soul (shinki), both who are required to work with one another in order to slay horrible monsters. Gods arrive as they are, just now with a new power, the ability to teleport, and a temple in the Heavens to call their own! Shinki arrive with complete amnesia and, if they're ever told about their living life, they turn into a horrific monster that must be murdered!
...But still with the powers they had before, and the ability to be 'named' be a god and thus turn into an item/weapon/animal to help with the destruction of horrible monsters.
Some characters may have opinions on this.
There's also a more indepth plot on a possible unknown god that wants to overthrow the Heavens (who are arguably helping the PCs), so that's something to explore!
As for the cast front, whether they're aligned with the K-gang or not, I'd really love any other characters to bounce our shit-teens off of! Chikusa in particular has been going through some character development and, while it's hidden because of course it is with Chikusa, he's definitely a different person on some levels!
...I mean, he's still a criminal teen prison escapee with no morals, but, I mean. He's writing a romance novel and made a fursona, so that's something.

[game info]: An old-school jamjar set in a world based on Alice in Wonderland, where characters are spirited away to Wonderland and must endure the Mansion slowly siphoning their memories and having them projected for others- we ran a Reaper invasion event in May and there was a trip to the Citadel last year! There's also a great modplot going between the Queens, some mysteries to uncover, and lots of stuff to play with... not to mention the Mirrors hiding behind the glass. Shepard's been there two years so she's very old hat, but would looove to see some old faces for her crew. AC is bimonthly and consists of an open post + 24 comments across at least 4 threads. Player Plots/Overarching Meta plot with slice of life
The Wake is where characters 'wake up' in a nexus sorry Doctors no time sight here and need to learn how to survive/coop with this new way of life. The main point of this game is character growth. Characters are encouraged to learn and grow beyond canon in however which why they might based on the in-game influencing factors.
Powers are able to regain abilities but not game breaking powers; example time sight. However, characters are also allowed to learn abilities they never had in canon. For instance; shapeshifting. When characters Ascend; aka the character growth, those characters are able to learn higher abilities, like being able to Fly or Teleport. As well as being able to travel to other worlds and fixing flaws (A Player Plot)
The story of the game itself is that there was a war with god like beings, one of those god-like beings in secret became the game setting (Nautilus) and therefore Nautilus is an actual living being that is conscious but don't worry most of the time Nautilus are like the majority of the Time Lords and doesn't interfere.
Activity check is relatively relaxed, and put simply it is two pieces of the following;
12 network comments (can use multiple threads to make one activity piece)
1 network post (provided you've made an effort to reply)
1 log community participation (doesn't have to be your post)

The game is pretty big, admittedly, but people are all very friendly and willing to thread. AC is only proof of two 5 comment log threads or 10 comment network threads, so it's easy to pass!

AC is 20 comments a month from no more than 5 separate threads, with a bonus activity reward system (like buying whole towns or new powers), and it's not hard to jump in and really do things in this game!

In El Nysa you are saved from a mysterious multi-verse destroying storm by STRANGE, ALL KNOWING HIGHER BEINGS (does this stuff sound familiar, Stargate characters) who are vague as shit, and just want your assistance in return by helping out their favourite little world thrive and SWEARING NOT TO MENTION that the higher beings upstairs know how to space-travel. We have had kidnappings, diplomatic councils, epic dragon fights, a village where fairies get everyone high and also, beach days! John has unfortunately already died trying to solo beat up a dragon because nobody was around to physically restrain him at the time and come up with a better idea. HE'S BETTER NOW THOUGH?
The game has a ton of characters but I'd say is about medium pace, since it's more log heavy than network. We have event logs once a month, and an activity points reward system after you meet minimum AC! Minimum AC is two threads, any combo of a log thread with at least 5 comments or a network thread with at least 10!

[game info]: A survival game located on a far-off archipelago, helped along by a god who runs on stories. From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! [game info]: Reverie Terminal is a pan-fandom sci-fi roleplay game set on an abandoned space station orbiting an unknown planet. It features elements of discovery and exploration, survival and horror, physical and mental trauma and some slice of life downtime. There are forces at play characters do not (yet) know about and will need to discover through exploring the history of the space station and the environment they find themselves in.
Reverie is fairly fast-paced and offers plenty of opportunities for character and relationship development. There are regular space and body horror elements as well as mysteries to investigate, and you can save points for activity beyond base AC to buy new specific-to-your-character actions/events or leads into the mysteries of the station.
Padmé only just arrived in mid-August and is quite determined to investigate said mysteries and get back to Coruscant ASAP, especially given what she's learning of the horrible things that have happened to others since their arrival. I'm especially excited for timeline shenanigans with the rest of the cast, as Padmé is before the fall of the Republic and has no idea about the horrible wars that have shaped most of the cast.

[wanted]: ANYONE and I know that's the cheap answer but it's true. I'd love to have other androids around (even those he's never met) but Hank or anyone else from the DPD, Rose or Adam, or anyone else I'm forgetting would also be fantastic. There's a huge variety of things to do in game/player organizations/etc so pretty much any character should have fun stuff to do.
[game info]: Hadriel is a survival/horror(ish) jamjar that is super chill in terms of playerbase, with fantastic mods that keep up on an overarching plot that encourages player involvement. If you like plot stuff while still having a chance to do some SOL, it's a perfect balance. The game is medium-paced and gets a little faster during events, and many players are very active in terms of backtagging, plotting, and staying involved in things. There's a huge mix of mediums, genres, species, fandom vs oc, etc etc so lots of variety to have fun with, and for DBH players especially it might be interesting to note that the main 'enemy' in the plot is a hive-mind of robotic aliens.
Our TDM is up here, and AC is a total of 20 network or 10 log comments (or any mix.) Apps are open from the 1st to the 7th with new arrivals coming into game on the 10th. Reserves are open now. The monthly rundown (what plots are coming up) isn't up yet, but should be within the next few days.

[game info]: El Nysa is a panfandom game where characters are rescued by the Natha after a storm destroys their worlds and are asked to become productive citizens on the planet of El Nysa. It features conflict between factions, independent quests and adventures, and the occasional smut opt-ins. It's a little fantasy, a little space adventure, and a lot of fun.
AC is two proofs with 5 log comments or ten network comments for each, and there's a reward system for bonus AC (and also a point-system for characters to build their rank in the world).
