FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

HADRIEL

Two gods, opposed in all things, struggling for power. One threw open a door, allowing the entrance of evil and chaos - and you. Because power comes from emotion, and you are the thing that can provide that emotion. Your fear and your hope can strengthen the gods, but though they may see you as not much more than ambulatory batteries, that doesn't mean you're powerless. Welcome to the city of Hadriel, where fear and hope battle to manipulate you. Enjoy your stay, and do your best to avoid dying. It makes such a mess.

hadriel is a medium paced horror/choose-your-own-outcome game with an overarching plot arc that characters can alter and effect. The majority of the events are jamjar-esque, which are put on by the various gods designed to make your character feel specific emotions. These emotions give the gods power to further expand the city and establish themselves against the other gods, which then will result in plot events occurring. Look out, though- not everything is quite black and white here, and it's unwise to make such heavy decisions without knowing the full story.

Initially, the two gods in the city were Fear and Hope, each of whom had different types of events to pull fear and hope from your characters. While Fear used the power he gained to seemingly oppose Hope and continue to terrorize the player characters, once all the gods had been revived it became clear this was a ruse. Fear had always been working with Hope, and now that their brethren of Rage, Delight, Confusion, Sorrow, Tranquility and Love have been returned they have come clean about the enemy they have been working together against: the force that cut them down to two remaining them in the first place, which will surely seek to do so again and take the residents of Hadriel down with them.

Empatheias is a large once-floating island suspended on a giant pillar, and is one of the last remnants of a destroyed world. Its only city, Verens, is a somewhat strange place with its steampunk design and magitech technology. No two buildings ever seem to look the same, but perhaps it's not just because of the nature of its fashion. Emotions also help to change and sometimes warp the city and the island itself. Through these emotions, the island continues to grow, revealing more about what happened to the world below. These emotions can also play a role in much smaller ways. A simple laugh can illuminate a room, an angry outburst can shatter windows. The grass can both grow and wither depending on who is standing on it.

These emotions are collected in special crystal amulets and it is this amulet that you will rely on throughout your stay. As you meet and interact with people, explore the world, and go about your daily life, it will fill with the various emotions you experience. Keep it close, for it may prove to be the key to returning home.

However, there's more to this world than meets the eye. With the appearance of giant, powerful, mythical beings called the Arehtei, it would appear that while the floating island is thriving, the rest of the world is in its death throes. Something tragic happened eight hundred years ago, a mystery that no one remembers but are determined to solve. It would seem that the path home may prove more difficult than anticipated, and may require some "emotional aid" on your part. Perhaps this is the very reason why you were brought here to begin with.

But there are too many unanswered questions, and with each one that is answered, more arise. The only clues you have are tied to your emotions—emotions strong enough to shake the very foundations of this world.

So keep an eye on how you and others feel. Who knows what will be revealed next?

Empatheias is a panfandom role-playing game where characters can affect their environment through their emotions, CR, and other discoveries they make. It has a mixture of slice-of-life and adventure with a focus on character relationships and development. The plot and lore of the world will also be revealed through various large events determined by the emotional flow of the game base.

You don't quite remember what you were doing the moments before you now find your eyes trying to adjust to the darkness, the cold; you're somewhere underground, soldiers milling all around you. There are dog tags around your neck and some kind of digital imprinting on your wrist that seems to glow in the dark and reads: REGISTERED HERO.

"So, hero," says a woman's voice, her face in shadows as a machine hums into glowing blue life behind her. "You're about to be a part of something bigger than yourself; I hope you're up for it." Before you can answer, you're ushered somehow upward, leaving you with only her final words -- "Don't worry. We're the good guys." -- before you're enveloped in blue light and suddenly blinking the bright Florida sunlight from your eyes. A soldier escorts you to a car, where she proceeds to debrief you on the situation as she drives you to your lodgings. Your home, for now.

Settle into your new house, your new job, get used to your powers, make some friends, keep your ear to the ground. Or, if that's not your style, get your villain hat on and cause some real mayhem, or put on a costume and bring back the era of the caped crusader... just be careful how you do it. This is bigger than you, and you didn't ask to be recruited. What you do next is up to you.

MASK OR MENACE, sequel to

capeandcowl, is a panfandom RPG based on the graphic novel New Frontier and set in a parallel, modern day universe... with a twist. The year is 2018, but in this world, certain sentiments and technology reminiscent of the 1950s Cold War era lingered for many years past its end in the real world, even while mixing with aspects of the far-flung future. But as tensions with Russia began to die down, conflict over what it means to have power — and what those with powers owe the world they now call home — began to rise. By just being here, you're a figure of public fascination, whether you like it or not...and not all observers have your best interest in mind.

milliways_bar is a medium-fast paced, community-based, prose-based panfandom jamjar game, set within the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Universe.

Characters are allowed to move freely from their world to the titular Bar At The End Of The Universe through doors - which on their side of the door might be anything from a porthole to a hole in the ground, and from there can either willingly move back and forth between worlds, stay upstairs at the Bar's inn or be "Bound" or trapped at Milliways without an escape hatch back for any length of time.

ZHAUTAS

It's the end of the multiverse as we know it.
When the multiverse cracks wide open and gets scrambled together to make a cosmic omelet, a lot is happening at once. Chaos and confusion are naturally at the forefront of such a shift. Everyone’s perception of reality just got a whole lot bigger. Turns out, there is more than one universe out there! In fact, there’s a ton of them.

Behind it follows the questions, “How?” or “Why?” The answers to those inquiries actually come to those asking them in the form of a disease. A subtle seep into everything that it can reach; it doesn’t seem fatal. Not yet, at least. Its spread is extraordinarily far and fast perhaps as a result of the bending and twisting of multiple realities into one. Before long, everyone seems to be reporting about this phenomenon.

A synthetic voice sounds out across every reality, whether new or old. It rings in the mind of every one of the multiverse at once. "You’re infected," it says. "We’re here to help." Skies from all over see the same sight. The planet next to them or maybe two over, it’s suddenly gone. In a flash of light and color, it’s vaporized.

These beings have a funny way of helping.

But some planets are lucky. They’ve met just the right conditions to be quarantined for further research. Even luckier still, a select few individuals from each of these closed off planets are chosen to be shipped off-world and become part of the next phase of clinical trials working towards a cure. Led by renown scientific minds from all over the multiverse, it sounds rather promising. You could stay where you are and see how long it takes before the disease turns out to be deadly... Or you could “volunteer” your services to directly contribute to the closest thing to a cure the multiverse has seen yet.

Should you accept, the planet Zhautas welcomes you and hopes you enjoy your stay.

About the game...
Zhautas is an 18+ panfandom sci-fi/exploration smut game with horror elements. It's a mish-mash of the strange, sexy, and spooky. It is set on the planet #05031941 - common name designated as 'Zhautas' - which is considered ideal for the next phase of clinical trials in finding a cure for the mystery disease ravaging the multiverse.

Zhautas is a former resort planet turned research facility. It has diverse ecosystems ranging from biting cold tundra to scorching hot deserts. There are even land masses suspended in the air and creatures dwelling in the darkest depths of its ocean. Characters will get to explore all that these new areas have to offer every couple of months.

The indigenous species of the planet are allowing the Zenith Corporation to conduct their research here under the condition that they are allowed to be involved as well. Despite this seemingly mutual agreement, it will quickly become clear that things are a bit tenser than they first appear between the natives and the Zenith Corporation. Add a whole slew of new fresh-faced "volunteers" to shake things up and who's to say what might happen...
