FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

[About]: He's a scholar with a penchant to be not entirely socially aware of himself. He also has a habit of playing with the arcane arts, lmao. Canon has him as a professor at a university as well as a tutor to a princess as well. He hungers for knowledge for knowledge's sake, and not just of magic, either. If you can teach him to dance, he'd like to learn; if you can teach him how to weave a basket, he's all for it. On the downside, he is a little one-track-minded and selfish in terms of his thirst for learning. As for ideas, he can work well with lots of types. Princess types, warrior types, sultry types... anything, lol.
[Ideas]: Canonmates especially welcome, but I'm open to cross-canon as well. He's good for a tutor/student type of scenario, adventure type of scenario, anything type of scenario. Him encountering something dangerous but going through with it can be a potential plot. AU or jamjar setting is fine with me!

[fandom]: Octopath Traveler
[About]: She's a cleric, compassionate and thoughtful. She has a good head on her shoulders, and is a strong, determined young woman who seeks to help others and bring peace. She's self-sacrificing and caring as well, but not your typical goody-two-shoes-archetype that blindly follows her faith. She does what she believes is right, and will feel and offer aide to anyone in need even if it means breaking some rules. Ophelia is soft spoken and polite, but don't be fooled because she can pack a punch.
[Ideas]: Cross-canon and canon. She's a good one for journeying. In canon, she sets off on a pilgrimage and works her way around the world from there. Running into another person (your character!) works pretty easily in this setting. Throw in some darker overall plot they have to solve, some baddies they have to fight, some mystery they have to solve, and we got ourselves a story! Her finding a mentor in someone else would be lovely, or her showing kindness to someone who no longer trusts anyone would be fabulous too. I'm open to all sorts of AUs too, like high school, etc.

[fandom]: Xenoblade Chornicles 2
[About]: In XC2, there are humans and Blades-- begins who must be awakened from their core crystals to fight beside their Driver. Mythra is the Aegis, a legendary Blade (one of three) taken from the canon's "paradise" called Elysium. She was originally awakened to combat another Aegis-blade during a terrible war. As it turns out, having two Aegises fighting each other caused a LOT of destruction. Long story short, she created a secondary personae called Pyra, and as Pyra she was sealed below the cloud-sea for 500 years. The events of the game occur, everyone's after the Aegis again, Mythra/Pyra is awakened once more. What about Pneuma? Well, Pneuma is lots of spoilers, but in short she's the third personality of the Aegis. Pyra is kind and soft-spoken, Mythra is bolder and brusque.
[Ideas]: Well, as a legendary blade AU'ing her into some fantasy story would be fun to do. I'm also open to throwing Mythra/Pyra/Pneuma and whatever character you bring into a jam-jar setting as well, or AU'ing either character into each other's canons. Note: Currently I'm only interested in cross-canon for her right now!

[fandom]: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
[About]: He's the white-haired-pretty-boy-anti-hero of his canon. Jin is a legendary Blade that kinda that is pretty hung up on his recent Driver's death, and so something something thinks this world is shit and wants revenge on, like, everything. He has a lot of grief and still hasn't gotten over his Driver's passing even five hundred years later. Believes that Blades should be liberated from their ties to humans. Capable fighter. He comes in two flavors: pre-Driver-death hero (and a pretty decent guy to boot, thoughtful, respectful, and caring), and anti-hero (an emo asshole).
[Ideas]: Canon I'm only looking for Lora, but any cross-canon is fine with me! He can be a legendary Blade that a character has stumbled upon, and he also fits the body-guard type of scenario.

[fandom]: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (manga + game)
[About]:Main hero of the game; I'm taking him from the manga so he has, gasp actual dialog and personality. He's got a bit of a heavy backstory where he basically damned his entire hometown into oblivion, whoops, and has no idea how or why he survived. He has a guilt complex and has some issues, but right now his coping skills involves pushing all of that behind him. He's still a bit of a teen and doesn't believe he's actually some hero of legend. And instead he plays himself off as kinda a rough-around-the-edges kid with a heart of gold. He's good with kids, but, uh. He kinda has a thing for getting revenge too against monsters that captured his friends and killed some people in his village. He has a lot of self-blame as well. But while he's not exactly okay with being called a hero, he'll do everything he can to fight and help others who need it. Would love for him to explore his fate as a chosen hero vs doing what he wants to do.
Ideas: Canonmates and cross-canon loved! He'd work well with playing the part of a knight or guard, hired or not, or some adventurer for hire as well. Modernization-wise, I'd love to play him in a high school setting with others.

[fandom]: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
[About:]The secondary villain in Skyward Sword, he's an ancient demon that's actually a literal sword. His goal is basically to resurrect his master, Demise, from being sealed, so that he may rule all. In terms of personality, he's flamboyant and sadistic, a sarcastic and rude asshole, easily prone to violence, and generally an unpleasant person to deal with. But he makes a show of just about everything, and always in the dramatic and patronizing way. He's antagonistic, and basically just wants to bring about ruin while obtaining power
[Ideas]: Canon and cross-canon welcome! Honestly just canon mates would be lovely, idc which ones or from which games, all would be wonderful. As for cross-canon: Idk, you want a villain, you got a villain. :> Ghirahim can work in fantasy settings or modern settings as a demon from some ~ancient~ time. Or maybe he's still in sword form and, oh no, you picked up a cursed sword! Lucky you. He's someone who'd be interested in folks with power, like how they got it, if they have some sort of special divine and/or ~pure~ soul he can pick up and eventually use for energy. Kinda cliche, but it works.

[fandom]: Cells at Work: Black
[About]: Literally a neutrophil from the human body, except the body she works in is basically a worst-case-environment to live in: high stress, high cholesterol and fat, high blood pressure, low exercise, a heavy drinker, and a smoker. She's a girl that's in need of a break, but she doesn't-- and won't-- stop until she's done taking care of the body she's in, even if it's breaking down as she works. WBC is a warrior first and foremost, and she doesn't quite see how her not resting is also effecting her. She's seen some shit as well.
[Ideas]: Canon and cross-canon welcome! Suddenly winding up in a jamar setting seems appropriate for her, or an AU (either her in another world, or your character becomes some type of human cell!). Dealing with coping with the aftermath of terrible battles and loss is something I'd love to play out, but ofc I'm open to, well, everything.

[About]: Literally cancer. A villain, and there's not much more to be said of him other than he has only one goal and that is to live. And by living I mean dividing and causing chaos and destruction for everyone else around him, because that's how he is.
[Ideas]: I'm just looking for a Red Blood Cell to bounce off of him! Since he's never actually interacted with Red Blood Cell much in canon, I'd love to explore with the two of them more. He hasn't faced any modern medicine before, so him learning about what doctors can do would be a wake-up call to him. But he'll always vow to return. Which means that if you want to play your character beating the shit of him, be my guest because he deserves it.
