FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

I'm not sure if he'd be exactly what you're looking for, but I'd like to offer my Remus Lupin to thread with Nightingale. He's a fellow magic-user and war survivor, and I suppose he's handsome if you're into silver foxes! I realize that we'd have to do some playing around with their timelines and canons because Nightingale would hardly have missed noticing a war like the one against Voldemort if it had been happening around him in the UK. But if you're up for it and you're willing to play around with the exact time and place in which their respective wars occurred, I think they could be a really interesting match! Two very smart, witty guys who are nonetheless both very subdued by war trauma.

I can play Remus as a kid, a recently post-war 20-something, or an 30-something as he appears in Harry Potter canon. This is the account I use for when he's in his 20s, and my headcanon is that he spent this period of his life living on the road and doing whatever anti-Dark magic jobs came his way, kind of an unofficial or freelance version of what Nightingale does for the London PD. Maybe we could have them meet up and work a case together? If you're interested, do feel free to PM whenever you want!

for Hatori — Give me all the fluff and/or angst in the world. Seriously, my Hatori Spectrum runs wide and I'm super stoked for the new anime coming. Any lines would be great, platonic or non! I'd absolutely love to write with Mayuko, because there isn't nearly enough of them in the manga. I'd also really like to explore his relationship with the other characters in the series; I feel like there's so much to expand on.

for Shinichi — I'm playing him when he was still in his ~awkward nerdy stage, and as a result, have more room to explore him. Basically he's still in the phase where Migi was relatively new and they're having to learn how to co-exist, so there's plenty of potential for shenanigans there. I'm here for general stuff, AU stuff, romantic lines or platonic ones. Alien friends for Migi... Sci-fi / horror stuff is loved as well, given his canon. But so is cute stuff! I'm a glutton for anything, tbqh...

for Klaus — I'd love Violet, Sunny, or the Quagmires to write with! But anyone from the series would be great. I play him based off of the Netflix series / the books, and I also have an aged-up version of him here, though right now I'd like to focus on him at a younger age because I'm still getting the hang of writing for him. • mostly looking for m/f stuff for this particular post, but depending on the characters involved, i wouldn't be opposed to m/m as well.
• psls and memes both work for me! willing to tackle a variety of genres/themes from the lightest of fluff to the darkest of grimdark. au's can come too.

• for dick: resilient characters who can both challenge dick and be his rock through difficult times. pairings that have worked before (and i wouldn't mind more of) include: dick/rapunzel (tangled), dick/mercy (overwatch), dick/allura (voltron). alien, warrior, or just straight-up princesses tend to work really well with dick, as do professional colleagues/rivals. despite the rebirth icons, i generally play dick from the pre-52 comics, but i could also take him from rebirth canon.
• for tim: characters who complement tim's dorkiness with their own but also never give him the time of day for it. pairings that have worked before (and i wouldn't mind more of) include: tim/anna (frozen), tim/d.va (overwatch), tim/ann takamaki (persona 5). characters with a soft spot for dweebs are welcome, especially if they're substantially cooler than tim at first glance. needless to say, i solely play pre-52 tim, but if there happens to be a(n admittedly unlikely) demand for his rebirth self, i'm game for that too.
• for guts: honestly, a size difference/aesthetic contrast dynamic in a medieval fantasy setting. someone bright and cheerful to contrast his edgy dourness, especially a princess type.
• for peter: other superheroes? and not necessarily western. honestly, something to broaden the ps4 spidey universe, as rich and robust as it already is (thank u based naughty dog).
• for artorias: something of a similar vein to guts, though artorias' characterization would have to come from a more cryptic and apocryphal place given the source material.
• for goku: other characters from "nostalgia" anime e.g. sailor moon. i can age him down if need be, or take him from a canon point that would mitigate a conspicuous age difference.
• in general: i'm super for characters from western canons crossing over with characters from eastern ones, and vice versa! here's some canons i'd like to see, but this list is by no means exhaustive: sailor moon, zelda, soul calibur, castlevania, persona, dc animated, marvel animated, voltron, disney, atla/korra, overwatch, other superhero/shonen/video game canons.
