"It’s okay."

The voice is familiar, the one that you trust the most; the one that you believe the most when it tells you: "everything is going to be alright. You’re here for a little while but I promise when your purpose is fulfilled, you will return home to the moment you were taken. When you’re ready, open your eyes."

When your eyes open the room is dark and gloomy. It takes a while for your eyes to adjust and you feel as though you have been sleeping for quite some time. As your eyes adjust you realize what you thought was a solid way is just glass as a school of bio-luminescent fish swim by, bathing the water around them in an eerie green light.

Then the door opens and golden light spills into the room. "The Sphere told us you were up," the voice belongs to a gruff man or an equally gruff woman. "No use laying there, kid. This is as real as real gets. You’re here and there ain’t nothing out there but the dark."

Welcome to The Sphere, a plot driven game that contains horror elements. When your characters waken in the city, the tech is futuristic but in a state of decay at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. You’re on Earth but don’t know when. The game runs on three alternating mechanics: Memories, Nightmares and a full plot event.
