If you're looking for horror and minimal SoL, there's populationyou. So far it's had no slice-of-life, because the bits where the town isn't actively trying to kill you, you still have to survive the environment.

Specifically, populationyou is a two-mode survival horror game based directly on Silent Hill. It's mostly event focused, with some events being about survival in a hostile environment, and some events focused directly on dealing with monsters. So far, most play has been cooperative, but there are no penalties in the rules for PvP.
