ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. hello! if you have no reservations against playing with inigo's mother, i currently play olivia over at futurology. there is a gaius there as well, and a lucina currently in the queue! (also, despite olivia being from mid-game, pre-marriage, due to a recent time event, she was presented with a future version of herself. and in that timeline, she had already had inigo, and was also married to chrom, so the lucina in the queue would actually be his sister!)

futuro itself is relatively medium-paced, with the opportunity to be faster or slower depending on how much you decide to tag out. 'events/logs' tend to last around ten days, to maybe two weeks, depending on the content. it is a mission-based game with the purpose of 'saving timelines', so each new mission provides different settings and directives. currently they are on a mission on a planet that is like steampunk cowboys (ala borderlands?) where their directive is to investigate and prevent a group of locals from ultimately destroying the planet. it has a rolling app queue with a player cap of 75; currently that cap is full, but the turnover rate is pretty steady, and apps are processed every weekend whenever there is room.

there's also a fresh tdm handy, if you'd like to test the waters.

In that case, the people can find it on their own. There are ads all over DW. The point of this meme isn't to recommend just based on preferences because most people are aware of almost every game. They want to find somewhere they're wanted, that people know their character, and want them individually. No one wants to be faceless nobody that is a number, even if you're super glad to have them in your game and you want to play with them.

Have you checked out empatheias before?

It's a game where emotions can effect the environment around you and it's starting to shift towards a more world-building premise, if that catches your fancy. There's plenty of space for plot building here, in fact the game will encourage this as it's more about what you want your character to gain or get out from doing this and this. Pace-wise, the game stays around medium pace, with it picking up during events as one would expect. I'm not the fastest tagger in the world (some days I can only get one tag a day per post), but I still find meeting AC requirements is easy here, while still having plenty of tags leftover.

I'm obviously here to entice your Rayfa since we have an Ace Attorney cast, and might potentially get a Phoenix Wright this coming cycle. We have a Test Drive that went up recently and reserves are open. Apps will be open on Oct 1st and go until Oct 4th.

rubycity_rp recently got a Kurama in, if you're looking for castmates. It's a fairly slow paced game that shifts in genre between events, ex. there was a dream sharing event earlier in the month, is a SOL-ish autumn festival happening currently, and will likely be something horror themed coming up in OCT.

Perhaps thisavrou would be a fit? Apps are opening back up in OCT and while any of your characters would be great, I'd love to see Leo there. It's a space themed game that I think fits your requirements. The events vary in tone, from SOlish events to horror themed to political/war.

Driving by mainly to chinhands at another Tolkien player - we need more of those!

That said, couple of games for your consideration:

arda_marred is invite-only, but I know a whoooole lot of people who'd be happy to give you a referral (I'd offer, but I'm not currently in-game), and there's a whole bunch of Silmarillion characters there. It's a sandbox kind of game, pretty low-key and low-activity, so it's a good one to have on the back burner, and afaict none of your characters are taken right now! (I feel like there was a Fingon, but either he's dropped or I was mixing him up with Feanor). If you're looking for castmates/something like your characters' home canon, AM would probably be a good fit: it's set in a version of Arda and I think has more Tolkien characters than any other fandom.

Aaaaand while I'm here, might as well do a shameless self-plug: lethevale (which I mod, for due disclosure) is opening at the end of October, and while so far we don't have any Silmarillions, we do have at least one Tolkien (this one...), we may or may not also get a Boromir, and we have a Star Wars EU character on the TDM, if that's more up your alley.

It's an AU/amnesia game - which I recognise isn't everyone's cup of tea, but tbh I'd be really interested to see Maedhros or Fingon in particular as AUs - based on gothic horror. So there'll be a lot of mod-run plot, areas to explore, and so on, but also the opportunity for AU SoL if that's more your thing. I'll be honest, I'm just always thirsty for more Tolkiens everywhere I play
