ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. I have no such reservations and to be honest I would love to play with her, olivia is fantastic. (also thank you for mentioning the married to chrom thing, the whole "who's the father" deal can be awkward when castmates are involved since I don't want to push a ship on anyone)

you're very welcome for the mention! as i said, it was just a mini-event, and the idea was any version of your future or past self could have shown up, so even if you weren't cool with chrom being the dad, it can always be swung that that olivia was from ~another timeline~ (since the whole premise of the game deals with multiple timelines/universes, it wouldn't be too difficult a pill to swallow! also who doesn't love more drama.) at the time, i had played her from the BAD END timeline, just about to die before a bitty inigo. :') fun!

but yes i would personally love to have an inigo in game, and/or just the opportunity to play with one! thanks for hearing me out. c:

Personally I feel like it's more mid paced to slow outside events. Intro and start of the month events can sometimes explode but end of the month events and in between tend to be rather slow. I should probably mention it's a log/face-to-face interaction heavy game if that's a thing you don't like. The network gets used but you'll see only few posts on the network comm a month compared to the number of characters in the game.

Holy crap, Kio! And Subaru... Have you looked at The Far Shore? It's got an AC comfortably within your criteria and, although it's getting pretty big, also has a 3:1 day rate that makes it easy to keep up with events without getting overwhelmed. It's very friendly to player plots; we've had a couple big ones go down in the last few months!

bethany!! maybe give empatheias a look, if you haven't already? it's pretty slow/medium paced, and backtags are not a problem. the premise is more on the magic/fantasy side, with equal parts SOL and world-building, and lots of opportunities for player plots.

anders is the only dragon age character in the game at the moment, and is unfortunately from the default world state where he doesn't get to meet her, but i would love to see bethany in the game.

Aha! So there was a Fingon! (I didn't recognise you, so I figured it was worth saying, but then I don't think Faramir and Fingon ever actually interacted much in AM so that's my excuse)

I'm not on the right journal for this but, regardless! thefarshore has a Bleach cast (Kensei, Yoruichi, and Zangetsu, the zanpakuto/hollow one) and a Persona 4 cast (I play Souji but we also have a Rise and someone talking about apping Kanji), but is really big on crosscanon interactions so pretty much everyone on your list would be welcome.

The AC is pretty chill, to the point that it has a flowchart. As for genre and plot, the game is based on the series Noragami (your character can either be the reincarnation/replacement for a god, or a shinki that assists a god after having died, and has to regain their memories), so there's a mix of genres with an overarching plot tying it all together. There's some horror, but the slice of life aspects balance that out, and it's not thrown right in your face. It's also very player driven, imho, so proactive characters are def welcome.

Medium pace is usually its speed, especially with the 3:1 OOC:IC ratio, though it can speed up or slow down depending. And by doing prayers (quests) you gain followers/exp, and can regain items and memories, as well as attain some Special Statuses, depending on whether you're a god or a shinki.

Hi! tushanshu has some awesome OCs, and I think the game's well-suited to them since we have mostly small casts and LCWs. Besides, I would personally love to see a harpy in town! We're already crossing the ocean on a giant turtle, harpy weirdness would fit right in!

Hi! While we don't have any of these rare unicorn castmates to offer, tushanshu has got its fair share of characters with powers on the side of weird or magical or just plain ominous. I feel like John could fit right in with the freak show. We live on a giant turtle, what's not to like about that? I'm assuming from your "with or without network" that you'd be up for prose-heavy games, which ours certainly is.

Hi, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for tushanshu. On the back of our giant turtle we live in a world with both fantasy and modern elements. Our animated Marvels would probably love the MCUs, but I'll admit I'm biased and would love to see my beloveds Elsa or Elizabeth! We've got a Dany (and a Rey), could be fun if the queens met! One piece of ongoing metaplot is that we've got a race of NPC who need stable temperatures to survive, Elsa might be able to contribute to that.

Poe has sadly gone home, but Kylo would still love to catch 'em all hunt the droid. I mean. Lovingly not-catch the droid.
