Count D might have some fun in either Daitu or Wake. And I'd love to play with D in either game!
Daitu: Fairly new game, power nerf to start, but everyone gets a familiar and some are.... VERY odd. And I do mean very. We are all stuck on this new world for reasons unknown (so far both months have started with a prompt that included NPCs asking for volunteers to submit to medical testing to figure out why we keep arriving) but we are all told that we need to learn this worlds' magic or else it will destroy us.
In Daitu I have a reaper by the name of Sho Minamimoto who thinks everyone is dead and it is his job to erase them all, who in canon is known for creating and controlling several odd species of animals collectively known as "noise". I have Xion, a Nobody from Kingdom Hearts who is certain she isn't a person because she lacks a heart and who might be interesting to D because not everyone sees her the same way.... >.> And I have a elven stick figure mage named V who is possibly of an age with D and just coming to learn the importance of actually respecting one's animal companions. It is a work in progress.
---
Wake is another power nerf game sadly, but a world FILLED with all sorts of odd beasts, from giant spiders to all manner of LoZ monsters, and soon to be a race of genetically engineered mustelids. (We also have a Newt from Fantastic Beasts, and I would totally stalkany thread where Newt and D have tea.) Wake's premise is that we are sleeping through our lives, and only when we Wake do we see reality, all we knew was a dream. Sort of. (There are also world hopping plots here and there). Characters have a chance to not just regain powers but learn all sorts of new ones.
In Wake I have a villian from Miraculous who uses corrupted butterflies to turn people evil, I have a talking cat who can transform into both a teenaged boy and an adult flesh golem, a detective who growls curses in a feline language despite looking human and is sick to death of magic and has a good shot at seeing the animals as both animals and their other forms, a Spark - someone who looks human but isn't quite - who is capable of truly warping the laws of physics in about 4 hours using science, not magic, who knows how to create living species, A miniature wizard who looks about ten, but is well over 700 A truly immortal human who is rather bitter and acidic.
I can link the TDM to either if you like, or answer questions.
