Oh man . . . this is selfish, but I love Newt. Acatalepsy checks your boxes pretty easily! It's a world-hopping RPG with a lot of adventure, a plethora of different plots, an overarching story, and is medium-passed! No castmates, but Newt would have a forest to play in with weird creatures in it when he's at the Temple. :)
