FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

For plot-focused games I'm gonna slide Fade Rift your way for consideration!

It's set in the world of Dragon Age (high-ish fantasy), but you don't have to be canon familiar to join.

'Rifters' arrive from their own canons, jamjar-style, through a magical tear between worlds. They also arrive with a fragment of magic in their hand — you can use bonus AC to let it shoot lasers and stuff. They're scooped up by a group looking to fight an ancient evil that wants to take over the world, as you do.

We're slow-to-medium in pace, with a lot of backtags, but there's always something going on. The setting's reflexive to character choices, and player plots are highly encouraged. Past plots have involved everything from riverboat heists, to magical plagues, to riding polar bears.

Fade Rift is plotty, slow-to-medium paced, backtag-friendly, and set in the Dragon Age universe.

We're an AU of Inquisition, in that there was an Inquisitor, but she died sealing the breach. So instead of one lady with an anchor, there are a whole bunch of people catching magical anchor shards, and the war against Corypheus has gone on much longer.

Because there was a canon The Warden for the world state we started with, we don't take The Warden or The Inquisitor fresh from the video games. But we do love OCs! So you'd be totally welcome to have Leesya be a Warden, or anything else. We also, obviously, love Zevran.

But!! There are options for your other dudes too, if you're inclined. There are a bunch of folks in game who love CritRole and the MCU in particular. Character can be AU'd in, or they can arrive jamjar style from a rift. These "rifters" do have power caps, so it mostly depends how much nerfing you're cool with, but I think it can be a really fun option.

There are frequent mod plots, and we highly encourage player plots as well. The setting's meant to be reflexive, which means that the choices your character makes will impact how others treat the group as a whole. Also, we might get a Howard Stark soon.

Fade Rift doesn't have a cast for you, but we do have a lot of love in the playerbase for both X-Men and UA.

Fade Rift doesn't have an X-cast right now, but we have a lot of affection for the series. The game overall is slow-to-medium in pace, and we don't care whether your characters bone down. Powers are capped some, but the mods are chill about working with people on that.

The game's set in the Dragon Age (high-ish fantasy) universe. Characters can be AU'd in, or arrive jamjar-style through a magical 'rift' between worlds. The game focuses on a small group of misfits (hearts of gold/silver/tinfoil etc) fighting to save the world — or at least their corner of it — from an ancient evil. There are regular mod plots, and creating player plots is highly encouraged.

You can even get him a job, if you want, with a fancy title and everything. Ooh, Mr. Head Blacksmith Lensherr.

Fantasy genre with a lot of Crime-Doers and a heavy plot focus, at your service.

Fade Rift is a smaller game, and we're on the slow-to-medium end of pacing. That said, I find it's pretty easy to take things faster or slower as your schedule personally permits. There's a group of players who boomerang frequently — and we highly encourage player plots, so there are usually opportunities to make your own trouble. Everyone backtags regardless.
