then i guess that works out for both of them! maybe just some random version of our world then? but obviously a lot scarier and not so nice or fluffy.

as for monsters and things like that, i'm cool with those suggestions! i think it'd be fun if they were mutated in some way, which i think that's what you meant by scarier? (not that animals and yetis attacking aren't scary lmao) but we can also throw in heartless too if you want. maybe some of them caused the normal creatures to mutate a little and just get weird? who knows. i say we just wing it :') i would also be okay with having them have been together/traveling with each other for a little while already, since we can push past the meeting stuff and dive right into the grit. do you have a pref on who starts and/or where you'd want to write this?
