November EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Lifeaftr is a panfandom game set in an archipelago of the same name, with a heavy focus on survival, exploration, and worldbuilding. Both player and IC influence are strong factors in shaping the dynamic setting, as well as the incorporation of RNG elements. Primary genres are survival and adventure, with genre shifts circling a broad range in accordance with plots and events.

And their god, Primus? Well Primus is completely done with the Cybertronians' shit.
Which is where you come in. Primus called you to this war torn Earth to fix the mistakes made by the Cybertronians previously there. To stop the slowly creeping metal from engulfing the whole of the planet. Or at the very least to show humans how to survive such a sudden change. Do keep in mind that currently humanity sees all Cybertronians as a threat, so it might be best to adopt some sort of disguise. Maybe a few humans will eventually come around to the idea that not all Cybertronians are so bad...

Will you find the source, or an answer to why you're here? Are you the cause of this deterioration or the solution? Does this world matter to you, or is there something more important waiting beyond the horizon? All you know is that you have been changed. Now it's time to make a decision. Will you look for answers, or just a way home?
MEADOWLARK is a panfandom sci-fi/science fantasy cyberpunk game set on a far future Earth radically changed by war, climate change and a series of catastrophic geological phenomena. The human race now lives in dense mega-cities, carefully contained under firm government controls, or terraforming colonies orbiting several planets and moons.
Characters arrive in game having already been in this world for several months. Experiencing the effects of heavy sedation, and showing signs of multiple medical procedures, they have no memory of where they have been held, what has been done to them, or how they came to be here. They have been left with lasting changes: a neural implant in their head, and some unknown glowing blue matter fused into their sternum which prevents use of canon powers while also providing a shared empathy bond and a new power.
Primarily constructed as an open-world setting with an over-arching core mod plot, Meadowlark is designed to adapt and adjust to the choices characters make and the paths they forge through the game. As the world begins to experience a series of strange and cataclysmic events, characters will find that the mystery of what happened to them is linked to the fate of this solar system and the people living in it. They will be pushed to make many choices and explore their own beliefs and motivations as they move through a world disrupted by the threat of an oncoming apocalypse, when all they may truly want to do is simply return home.

The Drift Fleet was renowned across the galaxy as the intergalactic reality show to follow. For centuries people have been taken away from their homes, pulled from multiple universes and from multiple times, and watched like a bug under glass for the amusement of faceless aliens. But what was entertainment for some was hope to another - for one race desperately needing help, The Drift Fleet was an answered prayer. For you it will be the start of a whole new adventure.
Welcome to Agra 10.
Where is this planet? You have no way of knowing. When you arrive, you encounter a glowing orb that harmlessly downloads information directly into your mind. What you learn from it is this:
Agra 10 is dying.
Once, the proud Agrii people numbered in the millions, stewards of a thriving world full of sophisticated technology. The first debilitating energy storm came from the heavens and destroyed an entire city, and the people persisted, but the inexplicable storms became more frequent, destroying everything in their paths. The small population that remained -- only hundreds -- huddled together in the heart of their capital and cobbled together enough of their broken resources to take them off world.
Centuries have passed since the Agrii have been able to live on their home planet, but they have discovered that outsiders are partially immune to the storms that devastated their civilization. They have scoured infinite worlds to find people to help them in their time of need, and you are among those chosen to restore Agra 10 to its former glory -- starting with rebuilding the capital city of Temba.
That is where you are now. This will be your new home.
And this glowing orb is a Data Point: a console left by the Agrii to explain their plight and help guide their newly-arrived saviors in restoring the planet. Unfortunately, among all of the points littered about the city, only this one remains functioning. The rest went dead ages ago.
Which leaves many questions unanswered: How did you get here? Why are you here and not in your home? What are you supposed to be doing?
That is all for you to decide. The Agrii’s hope and your own survival are now in your hands. This isn’t a show anymore. It’s not a game.

No, but really. What is this game?
The Revival Project is a jamjar game that picks up after The Drift Fleet concludes. While it is a spin-off game, it is only loosely connected to the plot there and anyone can join regardless of their presence in The Drift Fleet. NO prior knowledge of The Drift Fleet is necessary to play.
The Agrii have brought your character here to help them rebuild, to be sure, but they will also be making certain demands. After all of the chaos resulting from the destruction of their planet, they are no longer able to fully understand what it means to be part of a community. Watching The Drift Fleet provided the only lessons they had to help them start their society once more. While characters work planetside and (eventually) travel to distant worlds, know that they will have fans watching and learning from their every move. And don’t be surprised if those fans even reach out...
TRP is structured as a slice-of-life, adventure, and survival game where you have the opportunity to pick whichever of those elements you wish and avoid those that you do not. Whichever path your character travels here is entirely up to you.
As the game progresses, events will uncover larger and perhaps surprising truths about your new home and the race that brought you here. Not all is what it seems. There will be plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the setting; how you do so is yours to decide.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom (SMK) - A Panfandom World-Recovery/SOL Game
A dream can be a dream come true - with just one spark from me and you...
Two of these proteges, a cantankerous wizard named Merlin and the suave and short-tempered Lord of the Underworld, Hades, have joined forces to save their world from the corrupting destruction of The Corrosion. Pooling their magic, they have summoned heroes from all manners of worlds, walks, and wills. Only these Apprentices can save the Kingdoms and cleanse the lands of corruption.
Do you have what it takes to save The Magic Kingdoms and restore the power of Imagination to the waking world?
Characters arrive through the Magic Mirror, and are given lodging on Main Street with a roommate. The game is a mix of existing DWRP styles: jamjar, world restoration, and power acquisition and leveling. Characters choose a class of Sorcerer to become, based upon their nature, and grow their powers through taking missions to help restore the damage done by The Corrosion. There are Mod Plot missions, and lesser missions. Lesser missions can be played out or decided via RNG, while Mod Plot missions are done in teams. On occasion there are also Kingdom Curses: strange side effects of the combination of magic and Corrosion which affect residents for a short period of time. It may seem overwhelming, but all the current players are happy to help answer questions and test drive!
Application & Pacing Note: Applications are closed through the end of the year due to mods & most players being busy during the holiday season. A new test drive will go up soon, and applications will reopen for a January app cycle!
