ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. And finally PHANTOM THIEVES WE WANT ALL OF YOU. I know our Ren would especially love a Futaba (and Sojiro if anyone plays him), and an Ann would be fantastic! Also Hifumi and Mishima? Seriously, bring us all these kids.

[game info]: Daybreak Academy is a AU magical school game centered around saving the world from an upcoming cataclysmic event. Students and teachers are both playable, and the game incorporates mission logs, monthly events and player-run plots really well. AC is also very lenient, with a 10 comment requirement for all players, and an additional log from faculty members—running a class, running a mission, things like that! The player base is extremely active, so there's always something going on. I would put this game at around slow to medium-pace, but everyone is very backtag friendly so it never feels rushed. Also, school is just starting up again in-game, so this would be a fantastic opportunity to join!

Events tend to be a mix of SOL and action prompts, usually with optional sexy/NSFW themes. While the game is very large, it is also very low pressure, with easy AC and a backtag friendly playerbase. Our RWBY cast definitely exploded over the last few months, so there's never been a better time to join! [game info]: Prismatica is a sci-fi/fantasy game set on the titular planet, where characters are brought to solve an energy crisis centering around Chroma, a powerful energy source generated by intimate contact. This ranges from hand-holding to more NSFW things, but it's entirely possible and common for characters to get by on hand-holding and hugs. Each month, characters also experience a series of moon cycles, with optional changes based on whichever "moonblessing" you choose for them when apping in. These can be physical, mental or supernatural, and the effects you take are completely flexible and can change month to month. More moonblessing animals were recently added, as well as some "exalted" ones based on fantasy animals!

Events range from action to lighthearted to suspense and basically the whole gamut, so there's a good range for any kind of character. The game EMP usually goes up around the 5th of the month and the TDM on the 8th, and December has a slightly shortened reserve cycle (apps are still open for a week, though).

AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! It is important to note that it is a low-tech setting and there is some power nerfing (but not total loss)- check out the linked pages for more info.

Upon arrival, every new character will be stripped of their previous powers and begin to change into one of the listed monsters. The game is heavily focused on what happens after the change, such as what god you align with, how you go about treating the remaining npc humans, or what you allow yourself to become. Currently, Lup and Taako are both nagas.

We actually just switched to monthly apps, but As far as other game stuff, AC is pretty standard (twenty comments across the board) which can be used from up to five different threads. We also have a super sweet bonus AC system that awards coins that can be used to buy monster upgrades, spells, or even bring in stuff from a character's homeworld- Lup bought the Starblaster (even if it doesn't fly) and they've got a couple of spells back in their repertoire. [wanted]: God, I'd absolutely kill for any other Joestars or any Stone Ocean crew up in this game. It's an AU so literally anything goes, including canon points. Hell, Jolyne's from just after Gwess bullshit shenanigans while Jonathan is literally a ghost possessing a fruit bat. Anything. Goes.
[game info]: So Daybreak is an AU game that the premise is basically magical school that's trying to hold off the end of the world, more or less. There's also lots of bullshit shenanigans that can be pulled off. Specifically regarding JoJo's in the game, Stands are mostly the same as they are in canon except being classified as a type of familiar and can be seen by regular people.

AUs are insanely flexible as, like I said, Jolyne's taken from the beginning of Stone Ocean with having been dragged out of the prison and shoved into the school not long after Stone Free showed up. Jonathan, meanwhile, had all the same points as in Phantom Blood but was kind of a ghost and ended up possessing a fruit bat after he kind of got his control back. So you have literally a fruit bat that can use hamon. It's fucking wild.

And for some reason he's actually teaching Jolyne this shit.

Easy-to-moderate AC with monthly events and the option for player-run plots. Players have the option of joining as a Trainer, Breeder, or Rocket Grunt, with characters waking up in either New Bark Town or the Goldenrod Rocket Base depending on their choice. All characters become human with any powers nerfed, and arrive with basic supplies and one of a wide variety of starter Pokemon. Knowledge of the Pokemon games is helpful, but not needed; the FAQ and player-base are both very willing to explain things and provide helpful links to the canonblind.

[wanted]: Anyone would be grand!, but of course I would especially love fellow Varia members and friends for trainwrecky shenanigans, and out of those my kingdom for:
- Belphegor (or Yamamoto, though he'd need to be aged up), so Squalo can feel like a Responsible Adult and go PROTECC but also encourage his productive murder tendencies,
- Dino, so he can pull the spray bottle on Squalo every time it's required (I'd also be interested in potential guilty shipping but as Squalo will always drop everything for Xanxus I understand if you'd rather not)
- XANXUS, for everything under the sun. Yes, I'm absolutely interested in shipping, and the game in particular would allow for the messed up, violent, toxic, torturey, on-again-off-again, soulmatey, temperaments-flaring, property-getting-damaged codependent garbage fire that was always meant to be. However I am here for extreme slowburn and for what it's worth I'd absolutely play out a more platonic dynamic however long that can last with someone like them in a place like this, just give me a heads up!

Penance is an 18+ (16+ for characters) horror game set IN HELL. Corruption and redemption are the major themes in the setting; officially Lucifer is trying to help the souls get redeemed, but in reality they fuel Hell, so temptations are abound.

Monthly events deal with physical and psychological torture, occasional body horror, abuse, exploration, character conflict, sex and often deal with a variety of triggering materials. (You can get a pretty good view on the event prompts from the TDMs!) However there is also room for player plots and some downtime between the trauma, whether it's just helping make the place more livable or getting up to your own adventures.

[game info]: aef is a mid-paced game with metaplot elements based on the premise that each character who arrives will become either a monster or a witch. characters must form empathic magical bonds in order to keep from going feral/maintain magical stability respectively. polybonding is encouraged; smut is welcome but by no means necessary to engage with the game. metaplot is still unfolding, so there's a lot to take part in if that's your jam!
