[game]: SMK [who I play]: Mal from the Descendants movies and The Isle Of The Lost bools. [wanted]: Maleficent from any other Disney property, but ESPECIALLY the second live action movie. (Would love from Once also, or Kingdom Heats, or Sleeping Beauty, or Kingdom Keepers, or.....). [why]: I want her to meet another version of her mother, for the chaos fun and confusion. But especially the versions that have been a mother in some way shape or form, and actually want to be a mother. [game info]: SMK is set in a version of the Magic Kingdom that is a functional town rather than an amusement park. No one coming in knows anything Disney that isn't known canonically, which is a fun twist, but also a bit tricky for more modern real world canons. Powers are altered. Everyone gets some sort of ability depending on a unique RPG class system. There are exploration aspects and missions that the characters have to undertake to reclaim the kingdom.
