I'd also like the idea of Edelgard finally sitting down with Ferdinand over tea and being like "hey I know at times I treated you like a pest, but I truly value the time and effort you put into helping me make all this work" etc maybe somewhere down the line. Edelgard does respect Ferdinand, and his arguments do help her and her vision for Fodlan grow. I adore the silly rivalry but I also like that they're more than that too. So I'm pretty open to things!
