ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. I’m specifically looking for shippy stuff with a Dorian, plot or character focused stuff rather than smut although if smut ends up being a natural part of the thread I’m okay with that (although if it goes there I might end up asking you for advice during, since I don’t have a ton of experience with smut stuff).

I’m flexible on what plot we choose - I have some specific ideas about how to make the ‘Chargers are saved’ version of the Bull’s Demands of the Qun quest more dramatic (either ‘having taken the antidote to the Qun assassin’s poison doesn’t mean that poison doesn’t have side effects’ or ‘not having the structure of the Qun to keep his battle-lust in check freaks Bull out to the point where Dorian has to figure out why he’s acting so weird’), or we could do something with any of Dorian’s issues/his personal quest because Bull’s a helper and if help seemed relatively welcomed he’d try to. Or we could do something post-canon exploring what a long distance relationship would be like for them, or anything else you’re in the mood for.

I’m also a fan of modern AUs, I’ve been thinking of one where modern tech let the Qun keep a close enough eye on Bull that they could stop him/forbid him from telling whatever the modern equivalent of the Inquisition would be that he’s a spy, then start doubting his loyalty, test it, and when he fails the test make his former spy status very public, triggering a bunch of issues for him. If him getting arrested would give us too little to actually play out he could have had diplomatic immunity, but without being able to go back to the Qun his citizenship status would be iffy and even if it wasn’t a known ex-spy might not be able to get a job/pay for a place to stay, especially if he was a well liked public figure beforehand - an idea I find kind of charming, like, imagine Iron Bull The Twitch Streamer. Anyway, obviously most of the people he’d normally couch surf with would be too pissed at him for him to ask them for help. And maybe he’s trying to distance himself from the Chargers, making it impossible for them to find or help him so they don’t get associated with him and share the same social/legal repercussions he’s dealing with. Cue accidental meeting with Dorian, his former maybe lover, maybe friend with benefits, maybe platonic-friend-with-some-pretty-serious-flirting (depending on what kind of established CR you’re in the mood for)? Idk, if you’d like to do this one we can talk the details out.

other notes:
- I have no preference between prose and brackets.

- My length varies so I can’t promise long tags but I do always try to give solid hooks.

- My speed varies depending on my energy levels; if I am feeling good and have time I might reply several times a day, if I’m not I might reply once every couple days or so. If really low energy or writer’s block hits it might take me longer but I’ve been doing better about that lately, putting less pressure on myself with rp stuff, and so I’ve had more energy to think through what to write in replies.

Victory Road's Navigation is here. VR is a pokemon themed game, which dips heavily into the meta zone- characters often wake up in an unknown bedroom with their starting pokemon upon arrival, complete with some lady insisting they're their 'Mom'! But if that's not strange enough, there's Background Music.

Also, your weapons are gone. You also can't seem to ever Get weapons. Whoop.

On the surface it's a pokemon game- but it's also a game full of things like off the wall pokemon races, camping, and whatever you can come up with within the setting! The game is extremely casual, with 14 comment AC across two proofs (one of which can be a backdated thread)- and short of planned threads or group events, the game is very often network based as well.

MASK OR MENACE, sequel to capeandcowl, is a panfandom RPG based on the graphic novel New Frontier and set in a parallel, modern day universe... with a twist. The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, where characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; what you take on is up to you! There are opportunities to explore the world and uncover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, plus events that can play with the characters’ emotions. Steven himself has been in the game for several years and has recently been updated to the “Snow Day” episode of Future. Characters from any canon point would be welcome!

Some recent changes to note about the game: the game will end in August; AC has been simplified to require only either one open post or seven comments (across two or more threads); and the game will incorporate a partially rolling app system in which characters can enter the game after the initial four-day app period at the start of the month. Also, February’s test drive was replaced by a fourth wall event (original log and a fresher one) that is canon to the game. People are still welcome to hit it up, just give me a heads up about it! There are a lot of mysteries behind the setting including why so many random people are being pulled in. There are monthly events that affect the setting and the type of horror changes with it (for example, we've had a Bioshock themed event one month then switched to Midsommar another). If an event doesn't appeal to you, there's no need to participate! It's a medium paced game that's very back tag friendly with easy AC! There are lots of rewards for AC as well!

I'm voicetesting this guy! Looking for canon and crosscanon thread partners! Particular soft spot for other urban fantasy stuff, I watch a whole lot of genre tv and I simply adore smashing canons together or auing, something that's pretty easy with Shadowhunters' general setup. I can also get down for both shippy and gen, slight preference for shippy because I'm weak. I like action/adventure, angst, smut, fluff, and horror.

For anyone not canon familiar but still interested: Alec is a Nephilim (per Shadowhunters lore, a mortal born with angel blood) who essentially works as Supernatural Law Enforcement AKA he hunts demons & law-breaking vampires/werewolves/fae/etc for a living. As you might imagine, this makes for very easy hooks! I definitely don't mind being responsible for starters. Alec is sarcastic, uptight and extremely petty, but also deeply protective of anyone he thinks might need it and an embarrassingly domestic, sappy romantic once his prickly exterior is bypassed. He's extremely easy to fluster, as he spent most of his life being so far in the closet he's practically a moth ball. Shippy prefs here! Alec is gay but I absolutely still want to thread with female characters for gen things! Also perfectly willing to play gen with male characters, or even one-sided repressed pining on Alec's behalf. It's kinda his specialty.
