February EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. Characters are brought in and encouraged to engage in physical contact to produce Chroma, both a currency and a means to improve the planet, through simple means like hand holding or sparring to the much more intimate. Events tend to be a mix of SOL and action prompts, usually with optional sexy/NSFW themes. While the game IS huge, it is also very low pressure, with easy AC and a backtag friendly playerbase. Our already large (and friendly, welcoming, awesome, etc etc) RWBY cast continues to grow, so there's never been a better time to join! VR is a pokemon themed game, which dips heavily into the meta zone- characters often wake up in an unknown bedroom with their starting pokemon upon arrival, complete with some lady insisting they're their 'Mom'! But if that's not strange enough, there's Background Music.

Also, your weapons are gone. You also can't seem to ever Get weapons. Whoop.
On the surface it's a pokemon game- but it's also a game full of things like off the wall pokemon races, camping, and whatever you can come up with within the setting! The game is extremely casual, with 14 comment AC across two proofs (one of which can be a backdated thread)- and short of planned threads or group events, the game is very often network based as well.

Steven himself has been in the game for several years and has recently been updated to the “Snow Day” episode of Future. Characters from any canon point would be welcome!
Some recent changes to note about the game: the game will end in August; AC has been simplified to require only either one open post or seven comments (across two or more threads); and the game will incorporate a partially rolling app system in which characters can enter the game after the initial four-day app period at the start of the month. Also, February’s test drive was replaced by a fourth wall event (original log and a fresher one) that is canon to the game. People are still welcome to hit it up, just give me a heads up about it! There are a lot of mysteries behind the setting including why so many random people are being pulled in. There are monthly events that affect the setting and the type of horror changes with it (for example, we've had a Bioshock themed event one month then switched to Midsommar another). If an event doesn't appeal to you, there's no need to participate! It's a medium paced game that's very back tag friendly with easy AC! There are lots of rewards for AC as well!

[game info]: Sci-fi fantasy setting which also features an 80's aesthetic. The tone varies in a make-it-what-you-will way, with event and TDM prompts offering everything from things to play with in the setting, to fluff, to smut, to action and more.
There are some really fun mechanics to play around with between Moonblessings (think of these as patrons or houses, just very informal) and the setting. Moonblessings provide a range of options to play from, including physical transformations (within your character's moon's influence), powers, and personality traits. Characters without powers are granted a moonblessing on arrival, though you can also choose to downplay and ignore that if you'd rather! It's very opt-in friendly. Currency is generated via physical affection, and there are opportunities for exploration that come up through monthly events.
I play Rapunzel from about the first 1/3rd of the film right now, though she has been appropriately spoiled on major plot beats during her previous stay. I'd love to play around with castmates from later canon points, or from similar points in the film! She's currently rooming with Eugene and a ninja who likes to set traps, so it'd be strongly advised that spontaneous visits be kept to a minimum. ETA: We realize that there probably aren't really any Lance players out there ATM, at least I haven't seen any, but we really would love Lance to get into all sorts of shenanigans! Come complete the Trio 2.0 with us!
We'd also welcome Cass and all her [REDACTED] drama. The game allows for the exploration of new magic for anyone who comes in with magical abilities, so there's just. So much potential there. SO MUCH.
There's also plenty of non-adult things happening in game + the in character limits in place to avoid things being awkward for minors, so someone could app in Varian. Think about all the science he could explore, there's an entire division for it!

There's the opportunity to develop magi-tech and advance the world's technology.

Prismatica is a sex-friendly game (not a smut-required game) that has a low AC and laid back environment. There's an over-arching plot going on but you can also play this as a purely SOL game if you wanted to. The main thing is that it's basically a cuddle game. Physical contact of the nice kind gives characters Chroma, which is like an energy/currency sort of thing. Not being cuddly means your character has to get a job and is a bit weaker overall the longer they go without, so it's a necessity as much as it's just nice to have every now and then (even from sparring!).
When your character arrives, they become Moonblessed, the big mechanic of the game. Each moon comes with different traits, physical appearances, and abilities that you can customize however you like or only have them appear when convenient or whatever you want to do.
The game also allows CRAU characters and OCs to join! Finn's a CRAU, too, actually.

Premise!
Aefenglom is a fantasy panfandom game where your character can become a Witch or a Monster upon arrival. Characters can form Bonds, which help Witches stop from becoming overloaded with magic and keep Monsters from becoming feral!
Connor is a Merrow (mermaid) and Hank is a Witch, happily Bonded (but Connor is looking for a couple more Bonds).

[game info]: The game has a sex-friendly sci-fi setting in which characters are encouraged to take part in physical contact, and there are also special optional effects (including animal transformations, powers and sex stuff) that can come into play under one of the setting's three moons. The game's events also often cover a variety of tones including action, comedy, horror and smut. It's still very possible to play in the game and rack up CR without smutting! AC is also simple, at three log comments or five network comments a month. Our cast is also from different canon points, with Edgeworth being from his younger days (right after the trial of Terry Fawles) while Gumshoe and Kay are from the first and second AAI, respectively.
