OH NOOO I totally missed that and now I see it. The prevailing themes, man. I'm also reminded of Marco's last words and now I am sad. I feel like every time I go back and read something again, I pick up on something I hadn't noticed before. Like how Isayama left numerous hints everywhere that Bert/Annie/Reiner were shifters from the beginning and I stupidly missed them all until the reveal.

That sounds up my alley! I enjoy mid-level plots and quests. As much as Jean wants a SOL life, AOT characters work best in places where there's a bit of action! I've looking forward to this ~ I also enjoy Jean's relationship with Mikasa and Eren and that's going to be a fun thing to explore.
