ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. tbh, my idea of shenanigans between roxas and sora is the same whether it's canon/au: a thinly-veiled excuse for some terrible snarking .... like literally just them bantering and maybe arguing? with tensions ramping up to the point where they're pulling pranks on each other (somehow) and possibly getting into a bit of a (fist)fight too, but ultimately reconciling after all the hang-ups they must've had with each other! mostly because one of my biggest gripes about the series is that they never shared a good talk about how they felt about the situation post-kh2 to date besides what was revealed in kh:ddd, which i found a bit lacking. for this thread, i was hoping for canon divergence where roxas eventually gets self-realized as his own person with his own body and/or they have this emotional confrontation in .... sora's heart again, i'm dying ......., but i wouldn't mind doing something au in the same vein where they bicker over similar circumstances either! the brothers/cousins thing sounds more than fine with me.

of course, i can list some more suggestions if neither of those prompts ping you! i don't want to force ideas on you so one-sidedly, lmao. if you're still interested, do you want to go meme or psl for this? i'm down with both! and i can definitely elaborate further on what i've already written if needed.

Thanks for the rec and the info! I'm not sure how I feel about AUs, I kind of take them on a case-by-case basis. This definitely looks like an interesting game, and I always liked the idea of having a Sirius as far as HP casts go!

oh man, i've always wanted to play something like that out! sora and roxas's relationship has always been at the top of my "nomura please give us this" list, but there have been so many missed opportunities to do so in canon... like the closest we ever got was the roxas fight in kh2fm and the brief scene in 3d? (spoilers my username on lj used to be roxora at one point lmfao...) i hardly ever get to play out sora's serious side so i'm 100% on board with all that! i'm fine with either in regards to meme vs. psl, but just for simplicity/not having to wait for an appropriate meme to show up, it'd probably be simpler to just psl imo!

In the case of RE, it could work for elves to be a known thing, more or less, probably backing up BSAA and a part of that, since it kinda sounds like their shtick, if they're around and there're humans kinda sorta trying to kill the world. :'| With that, I figure it'd be easy enough to have them have to work together on some mission or another! Different organisations, but similar goals, maybe UN wants some supervision on US turf. The extra suck of elves being A Thing could be their DNA mixed into stuff... OR wanting to. And Leon gets pulled into the middle of things.

As far as Fallout goes! A little more depressing bc elves and nature are a close thing, so living in the Wasteland would be difficult for them. sob BUT... hm! Rumours of some mutant that Nick gets paid to investigate? Turns out it's not exactly a mutant at all, and I imagine it'd be easy enough to work from there!

But, Hadriel does look a lot more original than your typical horror game, so I'll definitely consider it! Because yes, it absolutely does look like it'd be an interesting game to toss her at.

YO YO and yeah, I know what you mean Re: horror, since I was also seeking out a different vibe when I was game hunting again. But Hadriel is pretty great in that it isn't too heavy on the horror elements, given that half of the NPCs require positive emotions as well, which wouldn't happen if the setting's vibe was "doom and gloom" all the time.

Might I suggest tushanshu for M'gann? We have a S1!Zatanna who's been in game for a couple years, and who would probably appreciate some Team familiarity. :D

We're a slow-to-medium paced game with no power nerfing (except for game-breaking), and even the opportunity to pick up new abilities. There's a mix of events between an overarching metaplot that's usually detailed in our monthly itineraries, and SOL downtime in between. Our AC is 15 comments a month where you can use up to 3 threads to make the total 15, and AC generates automatically generates points that can be used for IC rewards.

The setting is a continent-sized turtle, but we have regular events called landfalls at different locations, so there's a lot of worldbuilding and discovery! Our metaplot is very malleable and defined by player choices, with the focus on characters having real, tangible impact on the events in different ways (there's politics, black market, etc). We also have a regular event schedule posted at the start of every month, and player plots are definitely encouraged.

Our metaplot is focused on characters having big impacts... we've had individual characters change the whole direction of an event before, so it's not just "coasting" along with the plot. We have a regular event schedule with an itinerary posted at the start of every month and includes all the major events in that time, but with room for slice of life in-between; here's the new one for December, as an example.

We're a slow-to-medium paced game, very backtag friendly, and with no power nerfing or memory loss, and our AC requirement is 15 comments per month, accumulated across 1-3 threads.

A Tyrion! So happy to see one! While I myself play only Kylo from Star Wars here, we've got a small GoT in tushanshu and well, I'd love to play against Tyrion! (I'm also occasionally being talked into reviving my Jaime, but no promises, it's been years)

We have a load of metaplot things going on, both large and small, many of them political. For example, power on the giant turtle we live on is in the process of shifting from gangs to councillors and a police force, while groups of evil cultists are stirring up trouble in the background and causing mayhem via new drugs.

AC is 15 tags over max. three threads and speed is pretty much whatever you wanna make it. We are pretty log-heavy, which goes slower, while network is a lot faster-paced.

It is so worth it. Admittedly, it might be harder to jump into than when I started (I started reading it weekly around chapter 400), but it's consistently great (really funny, well-drawn action, and never focuses on a particular character or group to the point where the interesting characters get left out).

The starter's fine - sorry I haven't responded to it yet, but I decided to read some of Hunter x Hunter. I skipped past what's already aired on Toonami, and I'm already past chapter 100 (Kurapika's kidnapped the leader of the Phantom Troupe). I think I might be addicted.

I spy a Jedi Knight! You've got a fantastic list, but I'm biased towards your Jedi lady for tushanshu and our little SW cast. It's currently only Rey and Kylo here, but we're happy to play with Legends.

The game is very backtag-friendly, we've got big elaborate metaplots which are mostly player-driven and a very rich world to explore. Not quite a galaxy, but enough to keep a Jedi from getting restless! And of interest for Kerra, since both player characters and NPCs can gain powers from other canons, we have several native and cross-canon Force sensitives in need of training. AC is 15 tags over 1-3 threads.
