March EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." The game is projected to run for a maximum of 2 years, with the first year dedicated to uncovering the circumstances of the school, and the second year dedicated to devising and implementing a plan to leave. Starting with the graduation ceremony at the end of March, events follow high school life and Japanese school events such as sports day and cultural festivals and run 1:1 according to the real world calendar. There will be non-time sensitive murdergame elements such as investigating and sleuthing out circumstances around mysterious deaths happening around the school, but this will not a monthly occurrence nor a large aspect of the game. Overall, the game involves psychological horror and at times survival horror, and is focused on cr and character development.
Reserves and applications are always open, on a rolling basis, and the current player cap is 40 players, with no cast cap (subject to change at the mod's discretion). Activity check consists of either a post/toplevel and 10+ comments, or 20+ comments, as well as a summary of the character's actions during the month. Powers are nerfed upon arrival, but may be regained, along with other things, through bonus activity.
The current TDM can be found here, and the game is set to open on April 3rd. The mod plurk can be followed for any updates.

The Drift Fleet was renowned across the galaxy as the intergalactic reality show to follow. For centuries people have been taken away from their homes, pulled from multiple universes and from multiple times, and watched like a bug under glass for the amusement of faceless aliens. But what was entertainment for some was hope to another - for one race desperately needing help, The Drift Fleet was an answered prayer. For you it will be the start of a whole new adventure.
Where is this planet? Well, no one is quite sure of that, yet. When you arrive, you encounter a glowing orb that harmlessly downloads information directly into your mind. What you learn from it is this:
This planet is now home for you. Centuries have passed since anyone has been able to live here, though. Agra 10 is a dying world thanks to inexplicable and debilitating energy storms that have destroyed everything in their paths, including the Agrii people. Once, this proud race of millions had a thriving world full of advanced and sophisticated technology. The storms cut that number down to hundreds, huddled together in the heart of their capital, Temba.
That is where you are now.
The Agrii are now gone and Temba is the most intact area left (which says a lot about the rest of the planet). The orb is a Data Point left by the departing aliens to tell their story. But how did you get here? Why are you here? What are you supposed to be doing?
That is all for you to discover. The Agrii’s hope and your own survival is now in your hands. This isn’t a show anymore. It’s not a game.
No, but really. What is this game?
The Revival Project is a jamjar game that picks up after The Drift Fleet concludes. While it is a spin-off game, it is only loosely connected to the plot there and anyone can join regardless of their presence in The Drift Fleet. NO prior knowledge of The Drift Fleet is necessary to play.
From what you’ve discovered so far, your character has been brought to Agra 10, a destroyed planet that has been abandoned for centuries. You will soon learn that your mission here is to rebuild the capital city and the rest of this once-proud world. The Agrii, who remain off-world, have found that outsiders are somehow partially immune to the energy storms that massacred their population. Because of this, they will continue to find the best helpers from every universe to bring here. Lucky you are among those chosen.
In addition to rebuilding the planet, there is another task you must undertake. After all of the chaos that has splintered them for decades, the Agrii no longer fully understand what it means to be part of a community. Watching The Drift Fleet was the only lesson they had to help them relearn how to function as a cohesive society once more. So while you work together and even (eventually) travel to distant worlds, know that you have fans watching and learning from your every move. And don’t be surprised if they even reach out (although their English leaves much to be desired).
TRP is structured as a slice-of-life, adventure, and survival game where you have the opportunity to pick whichever of those elements you wish and avoid those that you do not. Whichever path your character travels here is entirely up to you.
As the game progresses, events will uncover larger and perhaps surprising truths about your new home and the race that brought you here. Not all is what it seems. There will be plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the setting; how you do so is yours to decide.

Do not try to understand how you came here, or why it was you out of so many others. This world does not yet have those answers. Only you, the essence of infinite potential, may decide what those answers will be. This is your story, your world, and there's still much work to be done.
Tabula Rasa is a panfandom roleplaying game set in a completely empty and featureless world—at first, that is. As characters arrive they bring with them imprints of their own worlds, shaping the setting around them. What kind of world it becomes and what direction the games goes in is completely up to the characters that inhabit it.
The game will include elements that encourage exploration, character growth, and a high degree of player control and freedom, as well as opportunities for existential and body horror. Literally anything can be changed with enough influence, including broader game mechanics and the characters themselves. Events will be a mix of genres, ranging from horror and survival to crack and slice of life, though ultimately the content of events will depend on the game's current characters.

You find yourself floating quietly in a disorienting, endless dark void. Although whatever you had on you at the time of your last memory is present, things seem... different. Your clothes aren't quite the right texture or colour, weapons don't feel exactly the same when you grip them, and even your body's proportions are just a little different.
But most startlingly, in addition to whatever you had on previously, you will find that another item — this one a most precious, treasured thing — is now in your possession... even if you didn't have it with you before.
"Oops," comes a voice, electronically distorted and indistinct, although you cannot see anyone. "It generated a new one. Dump it in the cache with the others and open another support ticket, this is getting out of hand..."
Characters find themselves waking up and trapped in the Svelte simulation, where they must deal with a myriad of challenges as "code revisions" are introduced which affect their surroundings, their bodies and minds, causing all sorts of unexpected hijinks. The game embraces many classic jamjar style events while weaving in a mysterious backdrop of metaplot.
Meanwhile their real world status is unknown, as is the exact nature of how they came to be inside the program and the identity of those controlling it. While there is evidence that their forms within the city are nothing more than code-generated avatars, there are also unexplained discoveries which contradict that...
Encompassing themes broadly drawn from sources like The Matrix, Star Ocean, and various cyberpunk series, the setting aesthetic could be summed up as "what if M.C. Escher was obsessed with neon and wrote programming code". The backdrop of the metaplot is geared toward an uncanny valley and eerie vibe, as characters are introduced to various elements which suggest this simulation is more mysterious than they know...

Aefenglom's TDMs are always plot-relevant, offering glimpses through dreams to prospective and in-game characters alike into the world's workings!
Apps are always open and the game cap has been lifted. Apps will be processed throughout April as they come in so you can dive right into the action!
Aefenglom is a sex-friendly, panfandom fantasy game set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas, where a magical blight called the Cwyld is infecting both the land and the inhabitants living in places left unprotected. Aefenglom features exploration, action and adventure as characters seek to uncover ways to rebalance the magic of this world and push back the threat of the Cwyld. There are many things to learn about the world and how it came to be along the way that will help in discovering both the cause of the Cwyld and how to get home.
Characters appear in the game as one of a variety of Monsters or as a Witch with new magical powers. Together, they must form strong Bonds to support each other and fight back against the dangers of the Cwyld's influence on this world.
Events and monthly Quests tend to feature a mix between action/adventure and slice of life elements, including but not limited to: exploring new areas, fighting infected creatures, working toward cleansing the Cwyld from heavily infected areas, helping or defending NPCs in need, citywide festivals and holidays, magical mishaps, political unrest between different parts of the city or different parts of the world, and more!
