FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

[game info]: Duplicity is a panfandom dystopian sex game that centers around negative traits and the outcome of succumbing to darker urges. Characters are assigned to be either Dominants or Submissives.

The Up part of the city is the lap of luxury where Dominants reside in their own extravagant apartments and have many opportunities and freedoms to pursue their favored lifestyle. Whereas the Down is home to Submissives who live in communal housing amidst crime and poverty, with very limited freedom or rights. Both roles are encouraged to form a mutual contract with each other, which allows a Submissive plenty more freedoms when assigned to a Dominant and access to the Up. Contracts do not need to be sexual in nature in order to be formed.

The game is invite only (all players can invite people!), but seeing as I'm the mod and all, I can invite you! Apps are just a simple form and ac is just a monthly check-in, so it's pretty laid back! April's TDM will go up on the 1st, but apps and reserves are always open!

[game info]: Chances are you already know what Duplicity is! Duplicity is a dark-themed sex game (sex is not required for AC) in a dystopian setting, wherein characters are sorted into a social class made up of Dominants and Submissives. Dominants and Submissives face different life challenges, are pushed towards bad behavior by the city, and are eventually required to contract with an individual of the other designation

Activity Check include two of the following: 5 log comments from your character, an open network log or post from your character, 10 network comments from your character, or 15 private inbox comments from your character. The game has a wide variety of players with different tagging schedules, and can pick up speed at times, but I've never found it hard to make AC here.

Pam is from Season 5, coming in just after the Michael Scott Paper Company arc. She has been in Duplicity since the end of November, and as you can imagine, has struggled to adapt in the face of her engagement! Pam has been designated as a Submissive and is currently contracted. She's making new friends, working to develop her art into a career, and learning she is in fact Super Bisexual™.

I personally would adore a McCree so he and Ashe could talk things out and eventually reconcile. But also, kelpie McCree. Unicorn McCree. You could play Horse McCree. Or any other monster you want. The game is very laid back and chill with mysterious areas that have yet to be unlocked, but will add more to the setting later. In addition, characters are expected by the government to produce Manna to help keep the world running, a power source generated by intimacy called "Syncing" (not necessarily limited to physical contact, either - even a deep and meaningful conversation can constitute Syncing, as it's more about emotional connection and understanding). As well as a slowly expanding setting, the mods have recently added options for setting engagement for characters who might want to get involved deeply with the world or NPCs, and AC rewards are a thing as of this month!

erku is a panfandom island jamjar where a superstitious supercomputer believes the life energy from intimacy will revitalize a long-destroyed island. There are shades of sci-fi dystopia, and players will have direct influence on the development of the world around them. In practice, the game is essentially Smut Bingo where characters are challenged to complete certain "Auspicious Acts" in return for favors and requests that will benefit both them and the world of Erku. Characters truly have a direct impact on the development of the setting and the direction of the game! [game info]: The usual: Ryslig is a horror game in which characters are taken to a mysterious peninsula by the Fog God who then starts turning them into human-eating monsters (which are chosen by the mods based either on randomization or personality traits). Hilarity ensues. Or maybe it's horrible things. It's both. Any non-human characters do have to be humanized first, but they start turning into monsters soon enough so that's fun anyway. Robotnik's a faerie, and basically a horrible bug man, and while he intends to get home by any means possible this faerie thing is useful and he intends to stay that way. It's taking a long time to actually get home, but he'll do it! He'll do it!!

[game info]: Forgotten Tales is a panfandom game where your character's soul is transported in to the world of stories- or as from the profile of it- Forgotten Tales is a panfandom, fairy tale fantasy themed, small, invite-only roleplaying game. It focuses on the concept of storybooks being their own worlds and characters inheriting the powers and characteristics of various storybook characters. Player and character action will be driving force behind the game and will be used to recreate stories. So basically, we're writing our own versions of stories.

I've very recently thrown Kiryu in, and am new to playing him, but the idea of others from Yakuza ending up in this place is an idea that's just kinda funny to me. Kiryu himself has been landed with the Essence of the Big Bad Wolf (Red Riding Hood version) and is just getting used to the strangeness, but the threat to things was enough to get him there. Open registration is currently closed(I can provide invites to anyone interested!), but the Character Workshop and TDM are still very open! Any are welcome to just play around on both to get a little feel for the game itself.

Character choices help decide the direction things will go and the island's development. It's a simple AC with an easy pace to keep up with, and it's super backtag friendly. TDM goes up around the 18th.

As for Julieta and Mikazuki, without any of their wranglers, they've been wreaking havoc on each other with great disdain. Both of us would be jazzed with any new entries to help cultivate the island and keep more murder from happening between these two jerks.

[game info]: Avalon is a fantasy panfandom RP where… frankly a bunch of knights decide it’s a great idea to blow up the multiverse with Excalibur and a Hadron collider. (Thanks, guys…) So now time has been frozen everywhere but the Isle of Avalon, and people are being brought to a modern Camelot from across the multiverse in order to replenish the world's magic and repair the damage.

Canon powers are nerfed, but characters are bonded to a familiar upon arrival and are given access to different categories of magic, up to two per character as of March’s event! This means you can either mimic canon powers with the right combination, or explore something totally new! There are no cast limits, which is a blessing in a huge canon like ours. While the game is very big and welcoming and there are monthly events, with a chill AC of one five-comment thread per month, it’s very easy to play the game at your pace and customize your experience in terms of slice-of-life/adventure balance. There’s also a blessedly simple reward system and a Quest Board which counts towards earning titles if you do like playing more actively!

As for the Moonies, Usagi and Makoto are moving into a house with Ren Jinguji and Camus from the idol game Uta no Prince-Sama and Miwako Sakurada from Paradise Kiss, with a catch-all for the move set for next month! And of course we can find extra rooms in it for new arrivals! Ren also just opened a stylish karaoke bar if you think your character would like a job there! We also just had an AMAZING masquerade ball to celebrate the Spring Equinox, including magical masks, sleeping in pools and giant flowers which allowed characters to be AUed into others' memories for a short while, and waking up with access to a second magic they got to try out at a "job fair"!

[game info]: Aef takes place in a fantasy-late-Victorian setting, but with Monsters and Magic! (Not UT monsters/magic.) Characters have their native powers stripped upon arrival and show up as either a Witch and must relearn a magic discipline through the Coven, or they arrive as a Monster, and transform gradually into one of the many varieties of Monsters available. Witches and Monsters rely on magical Bonds—the entwining of two souls—to either strengthen their magic or refrain from going feral, respectively. It's a great mechanism for getting characters out there, too!

The overall premise in Aefenglom is to combat the Cwyld, a magic blight that can infect any living thing. AC is monthly with 10 required comments across two threads. At present, there is a cast cap of 10 and no game cap. Aefenglom's apps are always open, and apps submitted before the last week of each month will be accepted for the following month. tl;dr The Rabbit Hole is a small, easygoing steampunk/fantasy sex game full of all manner of Alice in Wonderland-style surreal shenanigans.

+ Slow/medium pace with bi-monthly events & quests, heavy on the backtagging, and log comm only (no network)
+ AC is check-in, with a thread of any length required to be submitted every 3rd month
+ Smut threads are not required for AC but can be used to earn tokens and buy rewards in game, like item regains from home or pet tentacle monsters
+ Applications and Reserves are always open
+ The game is capped at 30 players/60 characters, and casts are capped at 6
