There is a meta plot but it's slow moving and the game is very backtag friendly with an easy AC. As long as you read the prompts for the TDM and the monthly plot you can keep up with things happening in the story, even if you don't participate in said story. I've vanished for over a week and not missed anything.

Oh...and castmates. There are castmates here! Chris Lightfellow (as Flame Champion), Geddoe, Nash Latkje, Elza, and I play Yuber.
