FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

Voidtreckers is a game where characters are forcibly recruited as Voidtreckers, inter-dimensional heroes needed on world-saving missions across multiple planets with varying problems. On arrival, your character is assigned to one of four teams, each with their own objectives come mission time. Nobody knows why this happens or how they're picked, but they're stuck together whether they like it or not.

At least there's a spa.

AC is two proofs of 5 comments each per month, with the option of receiving bonuses for additional AC challenges that will allow your character to earn the in-game currency: points. It's medium-sized, very backtag-friendly, with AU and CRAU are allowed and encouraged.

Game time is 1 IC day:2 OOC days. Missions last 1 OOC month and have 3 logs (start - ongoing - finale), and people are encouraged to take on what they can, with ongoing considered optional. Non-mission months are far more relaxed with a single event, usually taking place on the train.

Characters can earn back most personal belongings and also any items from their world or possibly others, and any crafting and teaching of skills is encouraged to help with train life and mission life.

Apps are already closed this month, but the test drive usually goes up around the 15th, with reserves opening on the 18th. Apps open on 22nd. It's very poor timing for enablemeplz, always.

samatoki in particular is going through a rough time; he's housing an oni named genkei who likes to pick fights. i'd love for someone he knows to show up but especially nemu, who he's been hallucinating and tearing apart buildings to find.

[game info]: Yogen is a horror game set in a high school, in which characters wake up suddenly as students of the school, spending their first days drifting between their school life memories and canon memories until they finally "wake up" and realize something isn't quite right here. Currently everyone is trapped inside of the school, so they're trying to uncover the mysteries of Yogen while also figuring out how they can get home. There are some investigative elements during events that feel a little reminiscent of murdergames, strange supernatural things at work like a black hole-like void that shadow people are tossing bodies into, and silly things like player run slumber parties + King's Game where everyone gets to relax for a bit. If you like horror games, it's a good mix and a lot of fun!

Our player cap is currently at 31/40 (possibly soon 32/40 since we just had a new app come in!), but that will be changing to a cap of 30 on June 1st. However, anybody that has apped before the cap is reduced is allowed to stay. I know it's short notice, but if anybody's interested we'd love to have you!

So I'm new to dwrp so I cant use terms that would help simplify what it is? That said its a mystery game where your characters wake up to their canon memories and an inability to leave the mysterious school you are in. There are puzzles and clues each character ends up with at times, from which they need to pursue with other members of the group to discover more of the schools mystery. Everything is there for you to engage with at any time, all that is required is your interest and effort in pulling your characters strings to go where you want it.

Currently the group has been trying to invest in unlocking more for everyone, and it's been a wonderful experience to see how individual characters from their own respective casts work together to figure out the mystery. Along with the npcs the Mod in question provides. Along with the setting & scenarios reflectively given.

A lot goes on in the group itself, and ontop of all that your characters need to deal with the setting in question making it uncomfortable & hard to live in. Can the current cast figure out the mystery? Can you *spook music intensifies*.

Isle of Avalon is described as a modern day Arthurian-revival panfandom RP. Set in New Camelot, each character is paired with a familiar and can learn two different types of magic. There's monthly quests and events to keep characters engaged! Della Duck is struggling with having shadow magic like Magica, Fenton is working on a science-oriented Youtube series, and Drake is trying to kickstart his crimefighting career in Camelot while coming to terms with Gizmoduck's supposed identity.

Activity Check for the game is just five comments per month. The next test drive will go up on June 1st, and reserves should open the same day! Apps will be open from the 7th through the 14th. Feel free to contact me with any questions!

[game info]: Noctium is a sci-fi game set on the titular planet, where the locals live on various floating islands above the toxic surface of their world. Characters have been brought in to help generate an energy source called Manna, which is created through Synchrony - intimate actions ranging from just a deep and meaningful conversation all the way through to the more NSFW things. Upon arrival, each character is bonded to one of the four Cardinal Gems - Amethyst, Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald - and given according abilities, but due to the recent birth of the fifth Cardinal Gem of transformation, Malachite, characters also transform once a month into mythical creatures associated with their bonded Gem.

There's currently a TDM up, and Reserves are open!

[game info]: Aterat is a small, chill, slow-paced game, in which characters have been brought to a recently reborn world in hopes that their presence will revitalize it. There are elements of adventure and slice-of-life both, and elements of characters' home worlds can be integrated into the game's setting (we have chocobos, for instance).

[game info]: Duplicity is a sex-game set in a vaguely dystopian society that divides all residents into two classes: Dominants and submissives. Characters are required to "contract" with each other (one Dom per sub, though Dominants can have multiple submissives) and each Dominant is effectively responsible for their submissive(s), who are dependent on them for things like being able to work, spend money, own property, etc.

Events are monthly and obviously geared toward pushing characters toward a wide variety kinks and sex acts, but sometimes lean much darker or push characters together in unexpected ways (especially contracted pairs), which may sound like a lot but is honestly not that far off brand from anything that might happen on Riverdale... it's certainly comparable, if you just swap "serial killer/crime capital small town" with "sex city."

Apps open monthly from the 16th-20th, reserves from the 12th-16th, and AC is any 2 of the following per month/AC period: post/log/open top level, 5 log comments (for which TDM threads can also count), 10 network comments, and/or 15 inbox comments, smut AC not required. More info here -- although I'm also happy to answer questions here or via PM if you have them! -- and the May TDM (they're every other month, so the next one won't be until July) is here which should give you some sense of the atmosphere/gameplay since the game itself is locked.
