May EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. Albedo, gen or ship, however I would love to do a slow burn ship... can start as friends and let them navigate how it goes, which is often my style anyway. considering Albedo is one of the crucial few people in Teyvat that knows about Xingqiu's novel and is the only other person involved in its creation...I would love to put a lot of value into those two's CR!
Zhongli because I just love Zhongli, but also because I have so many thoughts on potential trails for them having CR. Xingqiu's passion for Guhua could be something Zhongli recognizes easily despite its obscurity in contemporary Liyue and has no qualms discussing, fighting style training and sparing, adventures in general... completely fine with gen, I do also love slow burn age gap ship and can nudge Xingqiu to 18 for something like that, which is barely a shift from his estimated age anyway.
Barbara, Noelle, or Fischl. they are...so cute and I don't see many around! this could be gen or ship, I would really love either. I know fandom loves the part where Xingqiu is a menace on...Chongyun mostly, but I really like the idea of him getting to be himself and also not be a trouble maker in order to have fun! getting to be heroic alongside one of these ladies and face adventure and excitement, and also share awkward affections as friends or friends-to-more, would be really cute.
Diluc. can totally just be gen, open to slow burn into ship, but not pressed for it. younger, bright eyed, optimistic young man that strives for justice meets...slightly older, weary, burned, colder man who's been through some shit and also...strives for justice. and is weirdly sassy. it feels like it has a lot of fun potential.
Childe, can just be gen, either way, I like the idea of Xingqiu having to balance this wobbly situation of admiring some parts of Childe, while feeling challenged and disturbed by others, and working through those things and learning things about Childe, himself, and the nuance of grey between morals. pre-sea monster summoning party or after! how much tension do you want to work with, basically.

Ladies! Lumine, Lisa, Jean, you name it. one particular fan artist on Twitter with big brain energy has fueled my desire for CR with sweet ladykiller Venti. gen with cute playfulness and good-natured flirting or unattached and enthusiastic...things. Venti wouldn't put shackles on it, so how could I, honestly. basically, anything with the madames of the series.
Kazuha?? if anyone is thinking of picking him up, I'd love to have Venti CR with sad country roads boy. maybe our real home was the friends we made along the way... this can be gen, or more, I have no strong preference, I'm happy to just let things roll out how they will. sweet and somber stuff, action scenes, hurt/comfort patching up after, whatever works.
Diluc: gen fine, ship fine, does the Darknight Hero need a Robin to call his sidekick? of course he doesn't, but Venti will probably stumble across him doing his vigilante justice thing anyway. come on, you've seen how sick Swirl effect is with Pyro...you know you want to... but also down for interpersonal CR development, Diluc working through his big tangled ball of Stuff, all kinds!
Zhongli! gen, ship, whatever. cute stuff, sad stuff, harrowing stuff, shredding through the less than glamorous truths about being archons and things they've endured. anything with them, honestly.

honestly, I'm down to roll with anything with this one, CR with Childe is so intriguing to me; I'd love to see what can be done with Zhongli (especially if things touch on the topic of Khaenri'ah...oops;) oh actually on the topic of Khaenri'ah - Albedo would be so cool to work with especially with their personalities; stuff with Travelers; Diluc (doesn't have to be ship, can be ship, I have no strong preference;) Lisa, Jean...other Liyue people for whatever reason!

hear me out...I have this OC that I built up a few years ago and love to write, and I have formulated a bit of an AU to fit with Genshins. I could totally be hitting all you cute Genshiners on memes with him but I never know if people will jive with that? if you're not opposed to OCs being AUed into the setting, I would severely love to bring my old boy out and write with your characters! Ben has an AU post with some brief info, and his journal has original world info that still speaks to his personality. Geo catalyst from Mondstadt, keeping his OU focus as an exorcist in this AU, still a world-traveling scholar as well, which gives all sorts of open opportunities to be traveling and meeting anyone, and going into ancient places, which means...fighting stuff. he hates fighting stuff. (but will throw himself into the middle of it if someone is directly in danger or suffering.)
if you write Genshins and didn't see your character listed: PLEASE I exclude no castmates in this game, I will write out something with everyone!! these are just particular ideas that have come to me over time.

Honestly I would love to throw Lumine at any of your guys, though I admit I have a soft spot for Venti and Kaeya. I haven't seen this ladykiller Venti art on Twitter but it sounds A+ and I would be happy to supply Lumine for that, ahem. And Kaeya is so mysterious and such a little shit I'm down for anything there. I could easily see that rolling into hilarious antics of him pulling her down another dumb pirate rabbit hole or more serious stuff involving Khaenri'ah (prince Kaeya headcanon kind of rules my soul, ngl).
BUT YES basically whatever would be great. If you have any ideas in particular or if there's a meme you've got them floating around in you'd like a tag on, either are a-okay in my book.

I do love me Zhongven, I'm also very patient and love Venti being constantly playful and everything that he naturally is, I roll with zero expectations in CR other than having a good time! so I'm game for anything and at any pace. ; v;
I will say I am also big love for anyone with Diluc, gen or ship, so if you ever get the urge for Flaming Mondstadt Batman...I will be here waiting. (oh why does that sound kind of ominous ajksdas)
