July EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. [game info]: Hello hello! Imeeji is an idol game set in hell! (It's just enstars tbh... ) Characters have been dragged into hell to compete for the entertainment of hell. They are placed onto 1 of 12 teams that have different themes and abilities and are forced to compete in games that range from social bingo to high trauma.
It's a memloss game, with a few exceptions, and characters are able to easily earn memories back! In the enstars cast both Eichi and Leo have their full memories except from within the sequel. Tsukasa has memloss but is steadily earning them back.
Come check us out! Apps close tonight and we only open them up every other month. But that gives you time to look at the game and get everything together!

Isle of Avalon is described as a modern day Arthurian-revival panfandom RP. Set in New Camelot, each character is paired with a familiar and can learn two different types of magic. There's monthly quests and events to keep characters engaged! Della Duck is struggling with having shadow magic like Magica, Fenton is working on a science-oriented Youtube series, and Drake is trying to continue his crimefighting career in Camelot while coming to terms with Gizmoduck's supposed identity.
Activity Check for the game is just five comments per month. The current app cycle is ending on the 14th. [game info]: Avalon is a fantasy panfandom RP where… frankly a bunch of knights decide it’s a great idea to blow up the multiverse with Excalibur and a Hadron collider. (Thanks, guys…) So now time has been frozen everywhere but the Isle of Avalon, and people are being brought to a modern Camelot from across the multiverse in order to replenish the world's magic and repair the damage.
Canon powers are nerfed, but characters are bonded to a familiar upon arrival and given access to different categories of magic, up to two per character! This means you can mimic canon powers with the right combination, or explore something totally new! There are no cast limits, which is a blessing in a huge canon like ours. While the game is very big and welcoming and there are monthly events, the chill AC of one five-comment thread per month makes it very easy to play the game at your pace and customize your slice-of-life/adventure balance. There’s also a blessedly simple reward system and a Quest Board which counts towards earning titles if you do like playing more actively!

Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, all the shows. We want everyone!
Also EU/Legends people would be a fun addition, and would fall under their own banner with a whole separate cast cap, so lots of room for them.

It's a pretty laid back and chill game if you want easy AC (5 network comments or 3 log comments) and to enjoy crazy shenanigans this is a good place to try out!

There are elements of survival, mystery, and humor mixed into the events along with spacing between for personal plotting/character-driven events.
We're a small game that is really friendly and pretty active. AC is light and I'd talk about the mod team but I am one of them so that would just sound conceited. It's a really fun community and we have a good mix of characters that make it lively.

[game info]: Yogen is a mystery-horror game set in a spooky Japanese high school, where all the characters are currently stuck inside the school and forced to attend classes like normal highschoolers, except the school also encourages students to murder each other. You know, normal highschool stuff!!!! It has some "murdergame elements" which is to say sometimes murders happen and everyone gets to investigate to figure out whodunnit, but there aren't any hard deadlines so it's way more chill than like. the standard murdergame format where everything happens in one weekend.
I'd call the game medium-fast paced depending on how involved in the plot you want to be, and the AC is 20 comments (or 10 comments and an open toplevel/post), which can be a bit intimidating! but as a usually-slow tagger myself I've had no trouble at all keeping up, so idk if you think the game looks fun I'd say give it a shot if the AC is the only dealbreaker for you personally. but like if you're still not interested... we're open to PSL shit too just sayin'...
Yogen is a capped game and is currently at its player cap, BUT there's an app queue now so you can still app whenever and as soon as a spot opens up you're in! [game info]: Duplicity is a sex game that revolves around kinks and character's reactions. You're either a Dominant or a Submissive (although there are events where it can change, so if you want to switch you designation, it will likely come up again at some point). There are quotas and contracts, but a/c can just be regular interactions from a variety of different sources. There are monthly events that go on, plus regular interactions of trying to navigate the dynamics of the game.

All characters are given specific magical powers of your choosing (home powers are nerfed, and normies get to be magical woohoo), as well as any mythical-type creature as a familiar. Miwako, for example, has a moon rabbit as a familiar and can cast illusions and glamours with light magic, and enchant fabrics and other substances with such illusions with her secondary alchemy magic, which she uses to create moving prints on her clothing, magically dye her hair to keep her roots pink, etc, lol. No fighting minotaurs for her! The game is very flexible, you can play into the fantasy/adventure side of things, lots to do with various quest prompts, or relax as a more magical slice of life game (pretty much what I do with Miwako) and the AC is super forgiving — only 5 consecutive comments needed per month! TDM and Reserves open on the 1st of each month, and apps open on the 7th-14th (currently open), and more navigation is here.
Just imagine what the other Paradise Kiss members could be like with magic in this setting! If George had light magic and alchemy like Miwako, he could make extravagant illusions and garments... Isabella with green magic, living in a beautiful nature-infused home with an indoor garden! Arashi and Caroline duking it out trying to get ahold of their elemental magic together! Hiro studying how to incorporate his cognitive magic with psychology and psychiatry! The possibilities are endless. Avalon is the perfect setting for exploring these abnormal normal characters more thoroughly and really letting this under appreciated cult classic of a series shine~ ☆

I've already collected for you many gorgeous colored icons of Caroline and George (If anyone recognizes the icon makers, lmk for credit!) as well as some (mostly anime) ones of Arashi. No Isabella or others, unfortunately...

[wanted]: From Higurashi, we'd like to see Akane, Chie, Akira, Oishi, Takano, & Kasai along with pretty much any other adult! Eventually we'd love to have Shion, Satoshi, and Hanyuu but they will not be appable at this time unfortunately (but probably after Sotsu they should be fine). From Umineko, we really want Battler, Jessica, Ange, Lambdadelta, Bernkastel, and anyone else who could be appable! So basically... we want everyone but especially listed characters!! We're also super open to other Ryukishi07 works ofc too! As a side note, our resident Mion has offered to make icons for anyone interested in apping!
[game info]: Noctium is a sex positive (but not required) jamjar game that takes place on a planet run by gem people! Everyone who arrives becomes a "gembonded" and a gem appears on their body. Their personality and body may be affected at certain points during the month, but it is up to the player how much they are affected by it! It's a good mix of SoL and adventure! It's also very easy AC, and there are monthly events and a very active player base to come and enjoy!

Tabatha has just arrived and is living with Johnny Lawrence from Cobra Kai in a version of her house from her canon. She misses her family but her brother most of all. [game info]: Noctium is a game where characters find themselves in another world with one or four types of gems on their body, that give them powers, can affect their personality (if you desire) and allow for optional monster transformations of all kinds! The game is sex-positive (though sex is by no means required) and the AC is really low at 3 log comments or 5 network comments per month – plus monthly events which always give players something new to focus on.
As a side note, characters must be at least 16 to be played, so they’d have to be taken from a canonpoint where they’re 16, though I believe characters who are at least 14 can also be aged-up! I’d recommend checking out the FAQ for more details on that.

[game info]: Noctium is a sci-fi game set on the titular planet where characters are brought to help generate an energy resource called Manna, which is created by acts of intimacy that can range from just a deep and meaningful conversation all the way up to NSFW. On arrival, characters are "bonded" to one of four Cardinal Gems and gain new abilities accordingly, but the fifth Cardinal Gem, Malachite, also causes them to transform into various monsters based on their bonded Gem for a week each month. Events usually have a focus on CR building, temporary setting changes, or travelling to new parts of the setting, but action/mystery events also come up every so often too.

The game focuses on the need to make a resource called Manna, which is created through affection and intimacy, which can range from emotional/meaningful conversations, platonic touch like handholding and hugs, to NSFW (sex friendly game, but sex is not required). You get to assign your character a gem which allows for a number of powers and an once a month monster transformations. Events range from CR building, to location explorations within the setting, to action adventure, and sometimes other genres.
Here is the premisis and the FAQ. AC is very easy, there are AC rewards for those who are extra active, and the pacing of the game is pretty chill.

[game info]: Duplicity is a sex and kink game based around a system where Dominants are automatically granted more power, influence, and money than Submissives, but everyone is required to have a contract with someone of the opposite designation. Sex is required IC, as characters have a quota, but isn't required to be played out for AC.
The game is currently frequently flooded with aphrodisiac waters, has had a new gang take over the Down, the rough part of the city where subs without Doms are assigned to live, and has a new TDM up here!
