- I've also played with the idea of an post-apocalyptic AU where he finds fellow survivors, young or old, and try to live in the new world together. Could be end of the world, could be zombie, could be anything. I mostly picture him being pretty scrappy and resourceful, getting by with creativity and quick wit. For this kind of AU though, I want it to be unapologetically messy, including really dark themes regarding survival. Another version of this is gamified apocalypse, where suddenly the world is in chaos and you need to beat the system and win to survive. This can be discussed!
- For fantasy AUs, I like using the AUs they have for the merchandise. He could be an apprentice mage, a knight, a prince, a ninja or the devil. We can talk about the setting, but these are the major ones I remember his costumes in, so that would be fun to explore. I could also go for the isekai AU route where he falls into a different world and has to adapt, for more ideas.
