ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. ✔ PSLs or memes! When it comes to shipping, I am happy with M/F and F/F alike. OCs, Canon and Cross-Canon, are all equally as awesome. I'd also love to have Monika face the other Dokis (Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki) for cute or dramatic stuff.

✔ Monika can easily be isekai's into any setting given her unique predicament. She manages to escape from DDLC and poof, she pops up in your character's world. And then, somehow they meet? The other way around is possible, too, with your character getting trapped in DDLC.

✔ AUs are great! I'd particularly love AUs where she is an AI or android with no ties to DDLC (maybe she is an experiment, she's the local HAL-2000, your character created her, etc) or a normal High Schooler / College Student who still has traumatic elements to her background.

✔ I'm happy to play gen or shipping stuff, though I'll admit I have a soft spot for shippy scenes. DDLC+ spoilers can be included or excluded as needed. Romance, angst, drama, twisted love, (psychological) horror, conflicts and fluff are all super loved. Scenes that involve hypnosis, brainwashing or corruption are absolutely loved, but in no way necessary.

✿ SHIPPING PREFERENCES

✔ Monika only wishes for two things: to escape DDLC and to find love. In her mind, love can save her from the living hell that is DDLC and the digital void. Despair has driven her to a point where she'll fall for about anyone who makes her feel would it be just a little bit better. Of course, that's unhealthy and she knows it.

✔ I'd really like emotional and even angsty romances. Happy endings are the best, but they're even better when they feel earned. Something where she can come to term with her feelings and get her happily-ever-after. She needs someone who can help her through that. Of course, she cannot stand the thought of receiving and giving nothing in return. So characters who also have their own problems are great— She'll be there for them.

✔ I am also very interested in characters who will be possessive / obsessive / manipulative towards Monika. As she is desperate for love and will fall for anyone showing her kindness or promising her love, she can be very easily manipulated. However, she is not stupid and will likely realize she's being played like a damn fiddle. After all, she was the manipulative, possessive and obsessive one back in DDLC. The struggle would be for her to decide whether she should listen her heart or her brain. Things such as corruption work great with this, but aren't required.

✔ Smut is okay so long as the scene leads naturally into it. I'm not interested in roleplays where smut happens for no reason. There needs to be a proper build-up and natural progression towards it. Kink-wise, I have a kink list on my journal.

- My main limits are that I don't like scenarios that are too extreme in terms of being graphic/bleak/depressing, and I don't play smut, though nsfw content that doesn't necessarily lead to sex (or fades to black) is still fine, including comedic and/or fluffy scenarios.
- In terms of shipping, I primarily lean towards playing m/f for most of my characters, or f/f for Scorpia. I also don't do incest or huge age gaps (possibly if both characters are adults) but otherwise I'm generally open in trying out ships either within canon or cross-canon!
- Shipping aside, I also love playing with family/found family dynamics! So relevant canonmates would be welcome (like Gosalyn for Drake!), as would other potential family dynamics!

For Harley, I'm looking for shippy/romantic interests. I'm open to anyone she has chemistry with- hero/villain, cross-canon, whatever. Harley's a former therapist, so she's always interested in figuring people out; but she also likes to take care of people, find ways to help them. Of course, that's a double-edged sword; if they fight, you'd better believe someone's bad relationship with their father will be used as a weapon.

I'd especially like to find someone she doesn't know behind the hero/villain mask, as I think there's the potential for some really interesting dynamics there. Getting to know them just through personality and thought, without an(other) identity, the outside world, or even their face to complicate things; finding ways to get physical that don't reveal who the other person is; and maybe even meeting them in their real world identity, and not knowing who they are?

The Joker I mostly only bring out by special request as he's just a LOT, as a character. I don't tag out with him in Baker Street as a rule, because I know he's not to everyone's taste. But I'd love to find ANOTHER Joker for Johnny- I mostly set up his journal as a joke, but it'd be fun to try and flesh out who he is, why he works for the Joker, etc. etc. Or maybe he and someone else's henchperson are getting beers and commiserating?

For my Mass Effect Boys, I'm down for some general Space Shenanigans and cross-canon fun for both of them (Wrex and Drax the Destroyer arm wrestling? The Doctor playing tourist on the Citadel? Someone's ship running out of space gas?) Mordin's the one I'm most comfortable with; Wrex I've only brought out once or twice.

Arthur I would LOVE to explore more; I really like writing crime, and heists, and the dreamspace means there's so much potential for surreal weirdness there. He's hard to get to know, and can be kind of an asshole, being an emotionally distant Type A soldier boy who gets totally focused on his work; but I'd love to find an Eames or someone in cross-canon who can take the piss out of him when he needs it. Maybe something that starts as a fling, and he finds himself getting attached without meaning to?

- Open to shipping stuff for Harley and Arthur; they're both open to men, women, and nonbinary characters 25+. With shippy stuff, I prefer to see where the relationship goes, and what kind of chemistry they have, rather than jumping into an assumed relationship.

With smut, my absolutely favourite thing is D/S, which can be as complicated or as simple as you're interested in; maybe someone's getting tied up and flogged, maybe it's just an emotional overtone. But in general, using sex to explore power dynamics and characterization is both my jelly and my jam.
- I enjoy negative and positive CR- your character wants to fight, with words or with fists, let's GO!
