The performance of fake dating sounds instantly appealing to me, because it incorporates what I'd been hoping to play out most: Tsukasa and Rui being in increasingly romantic situations while Tsukasa just does NOT make the mental connection to dating being a thing they could do. Like you just know the guy said 'no thanks, I am focusing on my career :)' once when he was confessed to in third grade and hasn't opened the topic in his head ever since...
I also have a fondness for like... coming-out scenarios, a lighthearted bit of engaging with gay/bi identity, but if that's not your cup of tea then we can skim over that part pretty much entirely!
I'd be down for awkward first times smut eventually, but I'd like to write the relationship buildup first. Figuring out the difference between grand performative romantic gestures in public vs genuine affection in private being way more intimidating...
