— favorite: h/c, dragon's bride, hanahaki, dramatic things in general, if a modern take then threading it with a reincarnation spin OR it's still the same old xiao just...even older, re: dramatic things -- absolutely favor something edging on the side of k-drama over something more generic or fluffy for verses (esp since in ongoing PSLs i find there are usually moments of gen and fluff so it works out), royalty au, also not opposed to xiao mysteriously transported to your character's world type scenarios for crosscanon/oc potential purposes! some comedy/fluff/gen/slice of life in memes is of course great and par for it, given...memes! and some of the fun i've had so far in them has been hilarious and lovely.

— ships: zhongli for canon is the favorite but open to others — off the top of my head, childe, albedo, possibly even kaeya if you want to lore-dive/play... (do i know how it would work? no but willing to freewheel and see how it goes) , as well as open to crosscanon/oc possibilities. re: crosscanon/oc, it would be 1000% slowburn but i'm not opposed to jumping around on the timeline of a verse if we want to try (equally fine to wait it out for the payoff too.) finally, also open to the idea of someone/anyone having unrequited feelings @ xiao but not sure that counts as a ship.

— etc: i love verses because they can shape other threads i.e. texting threads, beyond the usual! if we establish a verse with enough detail and/or concepts it can be fun to play from different points in time but if that's too fussy it's definitely not necessary!

— &: 2.7 hit me like a freight train tbh! i have a couple other genshins i'm more voice-test city about, but if you feel we might vibe on a themes/things-i-like-to-rp but don't think xiao would work, feel free to ask or let me know who you have. maybe one of the others would work; he's just my genshin cornerstone.

— warnings+info: xiao's history involves enslavement, forced slaughter, forced dream-eating and the various effects you can deduce from that, and more. these do not need to be touched on in great detail often but they do exist and it felt worth the warning for anyone who might be more uncomfortable with these subjects.
