da here, but i've got to ask you a question about this while you're here doing Q&A.
have any players actually come to you and expressed their burning need for a game that treats it's players like they're 5 years old? did you put up a poll somewhere that revealed to you that there's an untapped market of dwrpers nostalgic for the old antiviolence field from milliway's? i mean, different strokes for different folks and all that, but it seems to me that what you're trying here is so narrow in its focus that there won't be any market for it. you don't want this to be a game where players with bad histories can start over in, you want it to be that AND a game that is inclusive to CRAUs and canon OCs (two notoriously problematic character types) AND you want it to also be a game so squeaky clean that even BS&P TV censors brought straight to us from the 1990s would approve.
see the problem? there's just too many hurdles here you're trying to clear at once. someone might be willing to give problem players a second chance, or give CRAUs a second chance, or give a patronizing kid's TV setting a chance (I'll point out here that even other "kiddie" games like Route 29 allowed swearing, for example). but the chances of you finding someone who is willing to entertain all of these restrictions, besides you yourself, is probably going to be a very small pool indeed.
