ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. I’ve been wanting to bust out tear again so I’ll have to take a look! Can’t say I’ve ever played a horror game (and we all know how well she does with ghosts—) but it might be fun!

If you do feel like hitting up the TDM at any time, I'd be more than happy to help you get a feel for the game, as well as answer any questions you might have! c: Bless her ghost-phobic heart lmao, ok so look Tear there may indeed be invisible phantoms who serve the meals in the dining hall and do the tidying about the ship but don't worry about those just, think about it like really elaborate fontech or something...! And maybe hold off on asking exactly who those phantoms used to be......(spoilers they're apparently the wrung-out souls of previous passengers on the ship reduced to empty drones which, you know, This Is Fine, ANYWAY--) Truly Jade would be equal parts mortified to find she's now stuck on the ship too, but also real grossly relieved to find a familiar face from home aboard too ah...girl has such a good head on her shoulders and her military sense is so often on point a+. I always really loved the "consummate soldiers with some ribbing on the side" dynamic they had going over the course of the game! Also this boat is currently in a bit of a constant drought where doctors and healers are concerned, so Tear's talents would be very appreciated even on this objective sort of level tbh!

I'm so glad to see TotA characters around and about every now and then too! Always a delight to spot a castmate out there in the DWRP wilds to be sure ♥

Tbh I’d love to take a look and see what the game is like in more depth!! It sounds interesting, and honestly from what I’m seeing there’s a lack of healers in a lot of spaces 🥲 i was thinking of apping her elsewhere for that reason but knowing there’s a castmate available here is definitely changing my mind lol …

Nah this is v fair tbh, it'd be extremely weird and awkward if she did admit this lmao can you imagine...Jade does not exactly think himself a font of comfort anyway considering, gestures at everything about him SMH....but still, if she needs distraction from the ghosts he will rationalize them away and/or sidetrack her with humor terrible enough to forget about all manner of restless spirits :') That's what friends are for, right...!!

Considering the age of this canon I sure am feeling you there in how great it is to find castmates anywhere aha, and honestly I've never seen an active Tear journal around in my time rping Jade so far! sorry for the slow response !!! to be honest, i got really sick for all of last week and spent it asleep more than awake.

LMAO honest feelings are not her forte, and squishy ones aren't his. tbh i always thought that they were a little similar in more ways than just their hair style. maybe it's the military training? haha

and really??? how long have you been rping jade for? to be honest, i used to bounce between playing tear and natalia back in the day (but natalia was pretty much reserved for my friend who liked her and guy together haha). i was torn on who to pick for here, and kind of just chose tear on a whim lol.

i took a peek at the game and i'm not gonna lie: i'm a little intimidated by all the prose. it's been sooo long since i wrote that much (although i know not everyone there is writing novels but!!). i'm impressed. i feel like if i did join i would grow a lot? so it's definitely something i'll be looking into/considering. i also saw the TDM from this month, posted back on the 13th? are they always on the 13th of the month? i might aim to try the one in july

and for sure!! games always take priority, so no worries there. :) if we do meme it up, i'm okay with it being slow lol. idk if this is mean to say but rp is a hobby, and shouldn't be stressful. so if/when we do play, please don't worry about things too much. you don't owe me anything lol.

But man yeah feelings in general are hard!! And gross!!! Who needs feelings anyway, not these two that's for sure...! Which yeah in these ways they really do have a lot in common when you think about it, definitely some consummate soldier mentality going on here. Military solidarity...see this is why Jade probably considers Tear one of the most sensible people in this party tbqh (though she could do to communicate a lil better sometimes, gazes at that whole thing with her trying to hide the fact the miasma's infecting her body as she operates the passage rings smh.....then again Jade also just fuckin never talks about anything either until it's like way too late so who's he to judge lmao, another similarity between them clearly!)

I first picked Jade up properly around mid-2020 I think?! And had a stint with him on memes here and there for a bit, and then fell off the face of dwrp for uuh over a year or so since rl got, well...gestures at Everything About 2021, looks away......but yeah! Took him up again around the start of this year and threw him on the murderboat to see what would happen, and here we are! Tbh it's fully possible I just missed you out and about in rpland if you've been active for awhile yourself haha, so glad we're not ships passing in the night anymore at least!! (Aaah Natalia is so great too, a++ to your immaculate taste ♥ Naturally I'd welcome both Natalia and Tear with open arms, both are great picks either way!)

Anyway yeah that being said we've got quite a range of writers across the board in Sail! I'll admit now I do like dipping into heavier prose at times myself, but I've also found that everybody in-game's very flexible and accommodating wrt writing styles and tag speed alike; honestly I've been trying to get the hang of putting out more succinct and snappier tags on occasion too, and ironically the game's been good practice for me getting better at that as well lmao, so yeah I'd say it could be a good opportunity for you to grow your own prose skills in turn if you'd like to! Honestly I've found it's a very chill sort of place for experimenting with writing styles in general, there's a little bit to dabble in for everybody

Actually we don't have a set schedule for TDMs currently I think! But going by the trend of the last four we've had so far (this newest one included) they seem to get posted approximately once a month, so I'd hazard a guess that it might be a few more weeks yet before another one goes up yeah. In the interim folks tend to tag on them pretty steadily throughout, though! There are threads still ongoing on the current TDM too, and I've got the toplevels there tracked atm, so if you end up getting an itch to dip in your toes anytime sooner I'd be happy tag you! Or yeah I can drop you a heads-up message when a new one goes up, if you'd prefer that too; either way is fine by me :)

Not mean to say at all! You're definitely right that rp is meant to be a fun time as a hobby lol, honestly it's great to have a more mellow take on it in these ways for sure. No pressures either way, if we can help it! I do look forward to being able to thread with you some way or another one of these days, whether it ends up being a TDM or meme thread first in the end...!
