FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened.

— for astrid: i don't know. but she should probably seek psychiatric help ykwim.

joking aside, castmates for her would be fun. i've bounced the idea of her going against a beau because of cerberus assembly vs cobalt soul stuff. maybe they run into each other at a job while astrid is still a volstrucker, maybe they're going after the same thing or maybe they're actively getting in each other's way kind of deal. spy shit. not necessarily a fight but definitely a little tension where neither knows what the other wants which i thrive on. hell you can substitute beau with any of the nein since even without the cobalt soul stuff the possibility of them going for the same thing isn't impossible.

i'd also love exploration of post-campaign going ons with her taking on the role that she does. a conversation about that with eadwulf and what he'll do next, if he'll stay with her. meeting any of the nein for favors of her own or vice versa if they so happen to need someone of her ilk, which they sometimes might? going back to the grove every now and then to help just.. plant stuff? some might say that is a way of dealing with guilt for everything else she's done but she's not going to acknowledge it. caleb being a professor at the school they started off in and the proximity means they'd probably at least have some chats. which means the possibility of properly meeting essek without it being in a fight or whatever. a proper conversation! wow.

as far as caleb goes, an honest conversation without fear of being overheard by trent would drop a lot of pretenses which could be interesting. she could admit that maybe she doesn't really know caleb, having only really known him as bren, etc. i like exploring the dynamics of estranged exes.

— for fearne: shenanigans, and also more bell's hells? and more cross-campaign stuff! i'm familiar with both c1 and c2 characters. i'm almost caught up to c1 and fully caught up on c2. for her i don't have any particular plot desires, so i'm definitely more loosey goosey on what she's up to. which works out. pre-campaign stuff? sure! she's old enough to have been around. plus the feywild is weird! she could've ended up anywhere with how sometimes the feywild just bleeds into the other planes. which means playing around with cross-canon is prime for making things weird. i like weird. it's definitely a lot easier for her to be shoved in with all sorts of canons so that's cool.

swat her hand away from your things! maybe don't let her take night watches since she might watch you sleep? braid her hair! watch her do dumb shit with wildshape and other druid abilities! general misuse of magic! go break into someone's house! pretend to be a married couple for some reason! i don't know. i don't care. as long as it's fun i'd probably run with it.

— for lenore: also shenanigans. i dunno. i dug out her journal and dusted it off so i don't really have many thoughts other than 'hehe. lady'. indulgent vampire stuff. i'm sure there's things to do.

— for y'shtola: castmates! npcs! scions! as always. estinien also just because of the 6.1 stuff. i want her to interact with her coworkers more. runar would also be cute but that's like.. really out there as far as hopes goes, but that's somehow more plausible than finding a thancred insane enough to ship with shtola as i'm still convinced i'm one of like five. which is kind of funny but i did that to myself. i just enjoy the chemistry i dunno try not to judge me too hard. i know. believe me, i know. oooh, a matoya would be fun too because i love that teacher-student duo a lot. they love each other in their own way. it's about the found family trope..

anyway, let her gently bully her coworkers. let her do vulnerable things like let herself be blind around them or ask them to read to her every now and then. or learn new things with her! or go undercover with her because we've seen she's very good(?) at that in ARR. unlikely pair-ups for missions! bouncing off ideas off of each other for cracking open a mystery, or a creation of a new spell. or maybe someone wants to develop a spell to make their own familiar! she has the same temperament as her master, so she's not the most patient and kind teacher in the world, but she can play at being a teacher if someone asks her to.

or maybe it's just the much needed downtime and having a meal somewhere. maybe they're going to the beach because it's summer! just don't mind that she's wary around aurelia and keeps a healthy distance. don't ask her about it either. or maybe they go somewhere cold to escape the heat.

ooorr the usual exploration of a canon moment that wasn't elaborated on much at all (so ranging in some spoilers here from shb onwards, but feel free to find something fun to nitpick at from arr-stb too! these are just more recent examples). the not-apology to thancred when she basically told him off in raktika. a quiet moment with ryne to talk about how she feels about everything before and after eulmore. letting urianger talk about his anxieties of meeting moenbryda's parents while they're in sharlayan. or alisae and alphinaud and what they saw in garlemald. there's a lot of processing that should've happened but didn't because of how urgent everything else was.

i know it's a lot of words, bear with me. i tried to keep my thoughts organized at least.. i even tried to condense them as best as i could LOL so if it doesn't make sense just ask me to elaborate somewhere. i have plenty more thoughts too i just didn't want to keep rambling.

for my critrole ladies, i'm good mixing it up for cross-campaign shit for any. some are just so limited in overlap probably that i didn't know if there'd be interest but the offer is there!

for tagging speed: it varies. i can go minutes or days or weeks but generally try to get to them within a few days. i’m pst, and i work 40+ hours some weeks but i’m happy to backtag forever if you’re okay with that. unless i clear my inbox by accident again. nightmare.

i like a wide variety of stuff. smut is well and good for any, sure, and i'll still do it because it's fun but i've been craving exposition and character exploration ranging from silly to serious.

anyway, i'm also open for other ideas you might have for any of them so let's hear 'em! psls, memes, whatever. either dm me here, or ask for my discord (i'm on there more than i am on plurk), or just comment here! either way. it's all good.

when i saw you on tfln i was like. fuck it lets GO lets go bother his poor dude who definitely does NOT need another handful. (but will get one anyway) and it ended up really funny so... no regrets.

thankfully fantasy settings are super easy to blend together, and dunmesh is so prime for shenanigans that i couldn't help it. tbh being canonblind to her is fine you just need to know: shes fey (and all that implies. ie. mischievous. liar. weird.) and shes a druid, but has ONE whole level in rogue. :D practically an expert, really. so theres possibility of her just going:
