Helloooooo krusty krew! It's Kippie! I haven't been around in a few years (pandemic does a number on that mental health huh!) but mayhaps some of you recognize me from older RP or Maya here from bakerstreet!

I'm looking for a game to play my original character in! I've decided I'd like to flesh her out, play her against other people to really solidify her personality from a concept to an actual character. I have a foundation and ideas on who she is, some of what she's experienced, etc - I'd love a chance to join a game and flesh that out more or have new ideas/epiphanies to roll with. And, of course, just having her deal with other characters and just how fundamentally different they are!

Maya is, in short, a normal person from where she comes from. Her world is different in a few ways... the major conception of what exists after death is not the idea of souls or ghosts, but rather the idea that all of you that Exists is a memory. If you aren't remembered, that is your truest death. As such, a common but important profession is recording the lives of other people - this scribe work is what Maya's profession is, first and foremost. She has a collection of tomes, both on her person and stashed away safely, that have the stories of countless people she's met on her travels. She tells those stories, shares those memories, so that they as a person still exist.

So when Maya drowned in a lake and became physically immortal, she unexpectedly became not only very good at her job but also extremely valued - after all, not only does Maya record your life story, she will be alive and she will remember you personally. Thus far, she's lived about three hundred years - most of it spent getting used to the whole immortality thing and figuring out her whole Deal in life.

In RP I love the idea of throwing an old character like that back into being out-of-her-element again, perplexing her, meeting and hearing people with such different perspectives and world views! Having her meet all manner of different people, from high school drama kids to marvel super heroes to scifi cyborgs-- and still having every one of those other people considering Maya the weirdo!

wow I rambled forever. But I know it's hard to pitch for OCs if you aren't at least able to somewhat summarize your OC's whole shtick so, hope it helps!
