ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. So after reading Greywaren I couldn't get a specific Gen idea out of my head and maybe I should just try to write it out as a fic but anyway...

Post Greywaren but pre-epilogue, when Ronan is starting his whole adventures being Fae Jesus traveling across the country seeking out other Dreamers to teach them, he has a couple rough starts that don't go so great and realizes as good as things went with playing teacher to Hennessey:

1. He had Bryde guiding him.

2. They still didn't actually go so great!!

So he decides he needs practice. Specifically with someone who already has developed Bad Habits with Dreaming. A worst case scenario so he knows how to handle it in the future.

Fuck it. Now that he knows how to free Dreams from their Dreamers, he breaks his 'nothing Living and Sentient' rule. Just this once. As close to the original as he can make it, he brings back Kavinsky with the intent to teach him how to live, how to be a Dreamer instead of a Thief. And hey if he still wants to die after all that, he'll kill Kavinsky himself.

Nothing shippy, I just love the idea of the tables turned on them since their last meeting - Ronan in control of himself with knowledge beyond the Ken of man trying to be instructor and having just as much Bryde's teaching in mind as 'okay, ignore 99% of what K told you'. Also since time has passed, the difference between Ronan as a young adult vs died-a-teenager K.

In terms of them possible prompts are the two meeting under different circumstances? Maybe setting aside the game plot and saying Rise's been receiving threatening letters and increasingly strange things have been happening around her so Naoto was hired to find the culprit?

If not that other possibilities aaaare: later in life when there is a lull in their careers both taking a break to vacation somewhere together. Would make for soft, fluffy scenarios. Could shove them into any jamjar games to make use of the settings or any events there. Something more medieval with Naoto perhaps being a personal guard or escorting her to an arranged marriage which Rise pretends to be ok with but is not.

I have two concepts that are great that are cooking.

One:
Setting is a god computer, in the middle of the space-time continuum. When the world ends, consciousness is kept in a waiting room of sorts until a new world / realm can be made. Since this hinges on a multi-level like full on apocalypse end of all life reverse big-bang situation all characters from all respective realms are brought into the god-machine to wait for the universe to stabilize and rebuild itself. lots of gains, customizations, etc --

there's more to it, but that's the basic concept. i have a google doc full of stuff on this one.

Two:
A world made sick by a dimensional rift pulls in others (from adjacent dimensions) that are made sick because of the fabrics of reality being torn. Syfy-Fantasy based with two respective areas dark & light, a power system, gain system, and mirror system. I have some light concept stuff on this in a gdoc as well.

there is a third one cooking but it's a bit raw still haha my problem is that i'm not really a mod. i'm a list-manager and app-team person at best and I'd love to run these ideas around with someone more experienced. pm this journal if you wanna help or have any suggestions. appreciate you all. hope the fall has treated everyone well.

Sofia Sinclair (this journal) - A space-traveling superhero and captain of her own starship, that she uses to travel to different worlds to study them and follow clues that allude to a space-wide mystery about the multiverse's past and potential origins. She does this while simultaneously working to protect humanity from external threats, and helping out the locals of the worlds she visits with their problems. Has a bad reputation for being a violent fighter and for being enemy of the gods, who seek revenge for Sofia killing some of their kin; alongside angels, demons and other supernatural creatures. But she really only does so when they're evil and a danger to mortals, and she is kind to those who don't harm mortals.

I have other OCs and some characters from Genshin Impact, Fire Emblem Three Houses and one RWBY character potentially available.

Action-Adventure, especially in a fantasy world where she'll be weird for having high-tech stuff. Having her encounter other sci-fi civilizations is also good, she can compare and contrast their tech with hers. Fighting together against a common threat or having Sofia play an antagonistic role at first sounds like fun.

Found Family, with preference for parent-child with Sofia as the parent, but sibling-like friendship is also good.

Slow-burn shipping. She's F/F leaning but I don't mind playing F/M if it works.

Chill SoL things are fine, like camping or taking a break from adventuring and trying to reacclimate to civilian life after being away for so long, just to name a couple. Extraordinary people doing ordinary things is always fun.

Sofia recruiting members for her crew for another expedition, or welcoming another superhero to her Not Avengers team. Vice-versa also works where Sofia is recruited to join a team of other heroes.

🦋 canon mates to explore relationships and personal journeys with! i LOVE filling in the blanks in regards to character backgrounds and relationships with others that aren't touched upon in canon so i'm always up for long-term PSLS revolving around that. i focus a lot on introspection vs action but i can always match with you to keep the thread going for the both of us.
🦋 cross canon is also great and established stories/relationships are good too! if you're familiar with the canon you'll know shinobu resents demons and basically anything else that need humans for sustenance, so playing shinobu against characters who align in that sense or question their ethics is more than welcome!!
🦋 shipping...... for shinobu i'm only interested in f/f relationships, and i'll play just about anything except for chara death. that'll probably be on the table later but for now i just wanna play cute/happy things srry!! angst/drama is good too!
