ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. — for the overwatches: an Ashe for my Cassidy or a Cassidy for my Ashe! Fighting, being forced to work together, flashbacks to the good old days, or romance are all totally up my alley. Additionally, for Cassidy in particular I have a great PSL with a Sombra and I would love more because I def ship it!

— for mary: I adore the idea of exploring Mary's life post-P&P's ending. At 19, she still has plenty of time to grow into a more well-rounded adult without the vanity of her own accomplishments and jealousy towards her sisters. Ideally I'd love to play off any of her sisters or a possible male suitor. I'd like to stay to the Regency-era setting, so if you have such a character in mind we can find a location where they could interact. For romance, I'm very into the idea of her starting out looking at marriage as a sensible, practical situation she should do but throughout the course of the PSL she comes to understand how her sisters were able to marry for love as her heart starts to turn in that direction too. Throughout it all, Mary will still be Mary: trying to sound smarter than she is and think she's talented when she's not. But with outside influences she may gain some needed self awareness. Any character from a late Georgian/Regency era canon would be welcome, including OCs!

— for persephone: After watching OSP's excellent video essay on Hades and Persephone I would love a Hades to explore the darker side of Persephone with. Based on the fact that she's a possibly older character than Hades and a terrifying figure I like the idea of her taking her role as the Queen of the Underworld very seriously and basically freaking out anyone who sees her except Hades. Any type of Hades would be wonderful to play off of: from a sweet, gentle guy who keeps her from terrifying the masses to a guy just as scary as she is, I'd be willing to explore anything. And it can be an ancient or modern setting too.

— for the vestige: This is the MMORPG protag you play in game and as I'm not playing much anymore, I'd love to RP out shenanigans with somebody. Ideally with anyone from The Elder Scrolls franchise and I'll make her time travel if I have to, but I'm willing to drop her into another world too. For context: she's a Dark Elf Nightblade (shadowy assassin who uses life steal magic) who has taken on pretty much every Daedric Prince at this point and really needs a vacation. But why not play out her getting into trouble with somebody else? Maybe she falls through a rift into another world or your character comes to hers.

— for joric: Dealing with the emotional fallout of losing control of himself and the damage he might cause. Also him trying to regain pieces of the man he used to be, which was far more carefree, fun-loving and happy than the depressed individual he is now. I also have an Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim version of him I can play. I have a real soft spot for the big, scary warrior falls for one tiny healer lady trope and I will always be up for playing that out in a million iterations! So magical healers are extra loved for M/F slow burn romance.

— for vesperina: a traveling companion as she searches for answers about magic and how to control it/remove it. It could be someone who can train her, or someone seeking answers too. A quest for something that's mutually beneficial? I would enjoy exploring Vesperina's growth from fear at what she might do to confidence as she begins to understand her magic and control it. Naturally, having a character who is capable of anything is way OP so I would love to sort out with an RP partner what kinds of things she could do, how often, what effect they would have on your character, etc. And I'm conscious of the fact that Vesperina's side of the story could easily be overwhelming which I wouldn't want! I want to explore what the other character is going through as well to make sure we're both enjoying ourselves. This could be either a canon character or an OC. I'm good with anything as long as you can see them bouncing off each other well on a road trip.

So after reading Greywaren I couldn't get a specific Gen idea out of my head and maybe I should just try to write it out as a fic but anyway...

Post Greywaren but pre-epilogue, when Ronan is starting his whole adventures being Fae Jesus traveling across the country seeking out other Dreamers to teach them, he has a couple rough starts that don't go so great and realizes as good as things went with playing teacher to Hennessey:

1. He had Bryde guiding him.

2. They still didn't actually go so great!!

So he decides he needs practice. Specifically with someone who already has developed Bad Habits with Dreaming. A worst case scenario so he knows how to handle it in the future.

Fuck it. Now that he knows how to free Dreams from their Dreamers, he breaks his 'nothing Living and Sentient' rule. Just this once. As close to the original as he can make it, he brings back Kavinsky with the intent to teach him how to live, how to be a Dreamer instead of a Thief. And hey if he still wants to die after all that, he'll kill Kavinsky himself.

Nothing shippy, I just love the idea of the tables turned on them since their last meeting - Ronan in control of himself with knowledge beyond the Ken of man trying to be instructor and having just as much Bryde's teaching in mind as 'okay, ignore 99% of what K told you'. Also since time has passed, the difference between Ronan as a young adult vs died-a-teenager K.
