Officially, we'd like to say that it's medium paced. Most players tag at least once a day/every few days, though of course we have those who tag faster or slower.
Activity is done by points, but it's basically 10 log comments or 20 network comments. We haven't noticed anyone having difficulty reaching this, and many have racked up a healthy stock of bonus points to use in our AC bank. The purchases there include regains and cooler spaceships, but are absolutely not necessary to play a fulfilling character arc.
