For Raihan: I'd like to explore the general tension between Leon and Raihan! The whole complicated friends vibe despite knowing Raihan wants to crush Leon under his heel, but still keeping a good relationship with each other. There's just something to how Raihan makes little quips and acting as if he doesn't care but he's really, really jealous of what Leon has and is insecure, and so to build up on that! I also have Leon icons if needed!
I also think it would be fun to play from their younger days with any of the SWSH Gym Leaders cast when they took part in the gym challenge, and just going with the flow of what may have happened there.
I'd love to play with any or other Pokemon characters from across any media be it manga, came or anime! c: Crosscanon is even fine with me!
I'm replaying Sword to dust off some of the rust, and I'm canonblind to the DLC... but I can google stuff to incorporate if there's anything to be done with that!
