An intense but delicious setup! You make a good point about Apocalypse AU forcing them together so Daisy can't just pull a Hulk and beat him to a pulp. And then we can squish some timelines around — I pull Daisy from post-AoS because she goes through some amazing development in those later seasons, but time travel and alternate timelines are a Thing, so we can make it work!
