ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves. There are times where the player's post may be screened (such as if they posted to the wrong section) but the mod's response will be left unscreened. ➤ Players may sometimes be allowed more than one strike for copy-paste ads since this is often just enthusiasm behind it, but game mods should know better. [game info]: It's a smut game with lots of room to handwave smut (there's no smut required for AC, either).

The city is divided between upper class (Dominants) and lower class (Submissives). And the events range from subtle dark elements to outright messed up stuff happening to/around the characters—so it's for folks who thrive on H/C, for sure.

The mechanic for determining which half each character belongs to is simple: a door is ICly/OOCly picked, and that has them entering what's known as the Up (Dom) or the Down (Sub).

Don't want to leave it to fate? That's fine, too. :>

The TDM is posted every two months, and topleveling with a specific designation (Dom vs Sub) allows the player to use what's called a Door Pass on the app. This allows them to control which designation the character's door choice landed them with.

Overall, it's a very fun game to challenge the characters in, if you're a fan of IC stress and drama. There are chances to both temporarily and permanently change designations, events that let you really dig into what makes your character tick, and all the room ever to push your character towards a specific kind of development. The mods really seem to enjoy handing the players all kinds of fun toys and tools for this stuff!

Hello there everyone! We are looking for most of the main cast. We did have a full cast but unfortunately M&M and our Loona left this past month. So spots are open for some new blood! It's been tons of fun. The crew has joined up with Devil May Cry to make an IMP:DMC crossover agency to protect the town from the noctaere, the nightmare creatures that sometimes plague Reverein. Hope you come and join us!

[game info]: The official game ad for Songerein can be found here, but to summarize it's a game that focuses on the power of dreams. Characters utilize dreamotion energy to recreate their canon powers, or they can learn new/modified abilities. The newest TDM isn't up yet either but it will be up on the 15th~ It's going to be a Valentine's event which you can take a sneak peak here.

The pace is slow-to-medium and AC is two separate threads of 5 comments from your character. If you enjoy slice of life, there's plenty of opportunity for it but there are also the mod events, which are bi-monthly, and also player-run plots to play with if 100% slice of life isn't your cup of tea. There is a lot of things for your character to get into. We have fought shadow dragons and had haunted carnivals. I have been playing in this game for half a year now and I really enjoy all my interactions with others. I hope you'll check us out!

[game info]: DC uses Bloodborne as its inspiration, but it isn't strictly a horror game and there's always a lot of different things going on. For instance, every month the different kinds of blood types are influenced differently. This month also has a Valentines theme with some forced getting-to-know-you "speed dating", and a bad luck curse that gets cured with a ritual that needs characters to stay up together all night. You can also play with last February's crack-effects chocolates. Plus there's a Silent Hill style player plot! Whether you want to use meme tropes to build CR, form a telepathic bond with canonmates, or lean into the horror of Corruption and Beasthood there's something for everyone, and the game is also great about using permissions and CW/TW to keep everyone informed and comfy.

The next TDM will be on the 25th - they're game canon and usable for AC so they're pretty welcoming! That's also when reserves will open, with apps opening on the 1st of each month.

[game info]: Game premise here, but in short: Superhero game with a detailed (but mostly optional) metaplot! There is also space to just do sandbox-y stuff, too, if that's your jam.

Characters are jamjar'd in the usual way, and find themselves on an alternate Earth where superheroes ("metas") are a common occurrence. Your character gets superpowers, either their canon powers or new ones you give them. Mods are pretty flexible about what's allowed!

The setting is an AU United States. There are four major cities where player action takes place, each themed after a particular "flavor" of adventure: There's a rural Kansas town famous for alien sightings, an old city in Lovecraft Country bursting with magic and mythology, a gritty midwestern city corrupt with crime families, and a west-coast futuristic technological wonderland.

The metaplot is engaging and ongoing, involving social and political tension rising between metas and non-superpowered citizens. Along with... cults, and outer-dimensional threats, though not much of that has been revealed just yet. If you choose not to engage with it, and instead want to use the setting as a sandbox for CR, that's also welcome!

Currently, the symbiote crew in-game ("The Oozefam" as they've come to be known) are a happy family unit, living under Wonder Woman's roof. Dylan's growing up fast & has found a close-knit peer group. Sleeper's got a side hustle on Instagram, but when they're not with Dylan, they like to hang out with their BFF Jason Todd.

[game info]: Songerein is a panfandom game based on the following three former games: Somarium, Empatheias, and Forgotten Tales (previous knowledge of these games is NOT required). At its core it's a worldbuilding game with adventure and character development that focuses on the power of dreams and the use of Dreamotion Energy to recreate old canon powers or learn new ones. It is a slow-to-medium paced game that is a good balance of slice-of-life and mod/player events, with mod events happening bi-monthly. AC is fairly easy as well, 2 threads of 5 comments each.

I've been in this game since it's inception, and have been having a lot of fun there! It's got plenty of opportunities for CR development of any kind (good, bad, or weird) and enough goes on that makes the game feel fun without feeling overwhelming. The playerbase is also very friendly, and I have been able to make all kinds of wonderful cross-CR opportunities with Toge here: he's developed some unexpected friendships (including ones with an old futuristic soldier, a deaf zombie, a kickboxing bar owner, and a "samurai lawyer"), and has even had the chance to learn sign language during his stay. It's been a lot of fun so far, but some castmates would definitely make things even better!

[wanted]: Open to anyone! There's a lot of great characters from the series so I'm not limiting anyone to a tortol boy even though I would not be adverse to having siblings in some form or another to bounce off of.
[game info]: Long and short of it, an alien race known as the Sylphid are in need of some bodies to inhabit so they can live but unfortunately the ones they've brought in are, well, taken. Characters start off being rescued by the local rebel group intent on trying to fight against the Sylphid and stop their ability to pull new resources from other places. Due to the unique setting of this dual-nature world of technology and magic, characters must eventually seek out a balancing 'Tether' with other characters to stabilize themselves. The game is plot-oriented with missions every other month and optional mini-missions in between. Pace is slow to medium and very back-tag friendly, and AC is rather forgiving. Also, since the cast is pretty much just Okitagumi, we'd love to have an Okita Souji either from TKRB itself, or from other media like Peacemaker Kurogane, etc.

[game info]: Songerein is a game about dreams and magic. Mod-run events happen bi-monthly while player plots fill the rest of the calendar. It's a medium-paced game that is backtag friendly. While there is an overarching plot, another huge focus is on CR growth and development and there are opportunities for both slice of live and action-oriented plots. TKRB characters are able to arrive with their swords and whatever else is reasonably within range of them as well. The landscape is constantly changing and will be increasingly influenced by the characters in it. The Outsider is also not just an NPC, but an interactive character, and befriending them may prove to have additional benefits.

[game info]: Ximilia is a panfandom mission-based game that stresses collaboration with your fellow teammates above all else. Each character's goal is to retrieve orbs across the galaxy in hopes of fixing a regret that they have about their own world. With each mission also comes a chance for a character to achieve a personal goal on top of trying to locate and retrieve the orb.

The game is pretty medium-paced and very backtag friendly, I've found the missions are made easy enough to follow thanks to the info sharing posts and opportunities for baton tosses. AC is a minimum of 10 comments across 2-4 thread to promote collaborating with your fellow orbers. There is a character cap of 60, and at the moment there are 19 slots available. The TDM is slated to be posted on the 17th, with Reserves opening on the 19th, and Apps opening on the 24th.

Austice is a smaller, short-run (about a year, of which we're 1/4th in) mystery game with horror and memory loss mechanics. The focus is on character development, and on exploring what makes a character who they are. Your character shows up in a mysterious town that's beset at night by fog, when the buildings start to waver like a bad trip and strange monsters appear to... stare at you, mostly, but try not to lock eyes with them too long.

There's investigation mechanics for pursuing the plot, and memory loss, beyond the changes made when you first app in, is generally up to the players to engage with further as they want; changes are reflected upon a personalized gem you arrive with. Be sure to keep it from breaking! You'll die if you don't.
