When you went to sleep the night before, it was a night like any other. But as you drifted off, just as your consciousness began to fade, something felt different. Strange. Like falling off the edge of something. And then the world went black.
You wake now to find yourself in a strange land, whimsical and ever-shifting, called the Dreamscape. You are joined by fellow dreamers from across the multiverse, and hosted by a strange-looking but merry master of ceremonies known only as The Outsider, who claims to have created this special joint dream for their chosen guests to show them a good time, and is willing to reward you for forming meaningful connections with your fellow guests. However, this mysterious entity, however jolly and well-meaning they seem, appears to be losing control of their own domain and failing to ascertain why. As this beautiful dream is slowly overtaken by a dangerous nightmare, you must rely on the bonds you form with others to see you through and help uncover the source of the trouble--- or risk never waking up.
Perchance to Dream is a panfandom, CR-focused game that dabbles in a selection of genres to offer a little something for every taste, and a slow-burn mystery plot. Forge unlikely friendships, share pieces of your world, confront your nightmares, explore our weird and whimsical world, and maybe even defeat some evil with the power of friendship while you’re at it. We are a small and slow-paced game with relaxed activity requirements and an alternating schedule of TDMs and members-only events each month.
