FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content).

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences.

➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened.

➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves.

There are times where the player's post may be screened (such as if they posted to the wrong section) but the mod's response will be left unscreened.

➤ Players may sometimes be allowed more than one strike for copy-paste ads since this is often just enthusiasm behind it, but game mods should know better. They'll get one warning for copy-paste ads, and if they spam anymore copy-paste ads after the warning, they'll be banned from the meme.

➤ For my Teen Wolf ladies I’d love AUs where Laura lived (came back when Peter did his thing to return to life and she came along for the ride much to everyone’s surprise. AUs where Allison lived. Just AU shenanigans in general. FIXING WHAT THE SHOW DID WRONG. Exploring more with Eli post-movie. AUs where Derek comes back somehow. (We CAN’T just leave it there.) Allison post movie exploring and figuring out where she (where they) go from there. I also have Cora and Paige journals that I'd love to do a little more with.

➤ I have Inquisitor AUs for each and every one of my Dragon Age characters. (The Wardens and Hawke, anyway.) I’d love to play around with those. Exploration of canon moments in between all the big moments. AUs. Ships would be lovely, of course (Canonically for Hawke I love Fenris and Varric, and Sebastian. ~~Also Cullen.~~ For Cousland it’s Zevran and Alistair.) I just love to see how characters get on. I'd love crosscanon shenanigans, too.

➤ For my obscure musical characters I would give all the Dark Side cookies for CASTMATES! Der Tod, Van Helsing, Quincy fucking Morris, Jonathan Harker, Dracula, Mercutio, Benvolio, EVERYONE! I’d love to do some canon-smooshing. Slotting Romeo et Juliette into Musketeers, or Sisi into Game of Thrones, etc.

➤ For Pavetta I would love mother-daughter things. AUs where she survived. Maybe a ship fetched her from the water before she drowned. Canon smooshing other canons together, or slotting her into them. ROMANCE. Girl deserves a love who isn’t using her for his own ends. AUs where things happened differently. Wouldn’t mind time travelly nonsense for her, either.

➤ Eile I’m still voicetesting, but I would LOVE a Fjall. I’d love all of that crew, honestly, because I loved all of them. Other Witcher folks would be great, too. Weird time travelly nonsense that lets her meet Jaskier and Geralt and Ciri and Yen.

➤ My RE ladies are still in the voicetesting stage, but I’d love castmates. Playing around with movie moments with Alice ~~and maybe making things more coherent XD~~ and exploring Rose and her relationships with castmates. Especially her dad and Chris. I’d love crosscanon shenanigans with The Last of Us folks. That’d be fun to explore. (Umbrella in the TLoU!verse?) Crosscanon shenanigans in general would be lovely, too. Welcome to the apolcalypse, folks.

➤ For both Lyanna and Ashara AUs where they live, first and foremost. Exploring what would happen if they survived, if they faked their deaths, if they didn’t die in the first place. What if Lyanna didn’t run off with Rhaegar and instead fell in love elsewhere. What if Ashara and Ned had ended up together? What if Ashara had fled to Dorne after everything went poorly? Timeline nonsense, where they were alive in other times, like House of the Dragon. I also have several OCs, belonging to OC houses created using the House rules in the Game of Thrones tabletop book that I’d love to start exploring properly in RP.

➤ For Cassandra I would LOVE crosscanon things. Putting her into other canons or slotting the two canons together. Castmates as well are always loved. I'd love to play around with timelines and have her meet folks from other campaigns. Either time travel nonsense or just... normal timeline where she's running around the world having adventures.

ODDS AND ENDS
➤ I’m MST and tend to keep odd hours; so there’s a lot of nightowl-y tags. Especially on the weekends.
➤ I am a slowbutt when it comes to tags sometimes. But I will backtag forever!
➤ I tend towards prose generally but I can do brackets too.
➤ Always down for plotting and talking about ideas.
➤ I love the hell out of AUs and canon smooshing (as you can see above lol) and I will happily try and smoosh all sorts of canons together.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I do have a Derek and I think his relationship to Allison can never get explored enough personally. So if you're willing to do something pre-movie (until I get around to inevitably watching it) I'd absolutely love to. With Laura, Paige, and Cora too-- other relationships I'd love to flesh out.

I am 1000% here for doing pre-movie things. (Honestly that's my usual go-to. Not that post-movie can't be fun, but just because there's so much to play around with and fix and explore with the show.)

And AUs are 100^ my jam, so I've got a version of Allison where she ended up a werewolf, a couple AUs for Paige, one where the bite took and she became a werewolf, and another where she was simply immune. (Which, both change SO MUCH of what happened later, but still it'd be fun to play with. I'm sure there's a way to come up with something to prevent making certain things impossible.) And Laura is just 100% AU considering. XD

Please ignore that I'm a month late in saying this but. Allison as a werewolf would be a lot of fun!

I'm not loving the memes on Bakerstreet right now but I did stick Derek up on shipping picture prompt (which I'ma go ahead and say is also serving as gen picture prompt for me, since we haven't had one posted in what feels like forever x/) if you are interested!

No worries! There'd be so much to explore with it. And also it'd be fun to have Allison around for the later seasons. However that happens, be it wolf or just not dying.

Yeah, Bakerstreet can be a struggle to find non-shippy memes or memes that strike your fancy. But I am 100% interested!

Ahaha, yes two sets of twins let’s just drive Leandra and Malcolm totally insane why not?? I’m here for this, and why not Bethany and Carver make it, as well? Because the Hawke kids are amazing.

As for Daemon, I was thinking that he’s the youngest of the Baratheon boys, and that maybe when he was in his teens, he was sent to or accompanied an entourage to Essos, and during a raid, got captured by the Dothraki (because that’s a huge part of his character development) but after some years managed to gain his freedom then came home to Westeros and fell back in with his idiot brothers, etc, on and on. I think he and Lyanna would get along SWIMMINGLY hahaha and it would be so worth it to have to deal with Robert’s flaming jealousy!

I am up for all ideas and deets, let’s go nuts!

Hell yes I'm here for them both surviving. ALL of the Hawkes running around Kirkwall. Trailing chaos in their wake. Until Bethany and Carver end up doing their own thing. Although if Bethany is in the Circle and Carver is a Templar they'll still all sort of be in the same place. It's just if one of them ends up a Warden that they get super parted from their family. But on the upside it's not just one Hawke shouldering the weight of everything.

GOD Robert would be SO fucking jealous. Just seething with it. It'll be fantastic. And Lyanna will be happy to have a Baratheon she can actually stand. And LIKES. Sorry Ned, your bestie is an ass and she really can't stand him much, but his brother is GREAT! (And Daemon knows what Robert is like so there's probably commiseration.) I honestly wonder if having someone outside of her family like Daemon who gets her if that would sort of... shift the whole trajectory of things. Nudge things just a little so things go a little differently.

So. Much. CHAOS, yes. I can see/hear Varric now. And Aveline too, lmfao. YES WE MUST DO THIS. What flavor is your Hawke? Mine is Rowen, a blue/purple mage, though he's not above being a bastard when necessary. I sort of see him as the most like Malcolm out of all the siblings, and that fuels a lot of his personality, because when Dad vanished, he basically became the Man of the House (much to Carver's chagrin, the ass). But yes, let's do this; Hawke has an open post if you wanna toss something in there? I'm aces at making shit up as we go and rolling with p much everything.

Robert would be livid for so many reasons, this is absolutely true. Because not only did his little brother go off to Essos and come back basically a transplanted Dothraki badass (and doesn't have to take being the "liddle babby Baratheon brat anymore, haha), he's making fun times with Robert's object of unrequited lust, because he's not just a whoring, whoremongering Neanderthal barbarian and actually LEARNED HOW to treat women. (The Dothraki women taught this boy very well, Lyanna; enjoy.) I want him to be king, but he just wants to ride into the horizon and discover new things and learn new things and enjoy his fucking life now that he's not IN CHAINS, and hey, if Lyanna wants to come along, let's go. I think they'd have a lot of fun together, honestly.

Varric's just going "There's FOUR of them my god." (And he finds at least two of them super sexy. LET ME ROMANCE THE DWARF, BIOWARE.) Poor Aveline, though. My Hawke is Líadan (Lía for short), and she's pretty similar. Blue/purple rogue. Diplomatically snarky. XD And worked with Athenril's smuggling group. We could have the both of them work for the same faction, or go with one each. I feel like she takes more after Malcolm too, so that works out, twin-wise. Each twinset takes after a parent. Or is at least favoured by them. I can definitely start working on a starter for us for shenanigans. What sort of time period did we want to go with? Maybe something earlier on and see what changes with there being four Hawke siblings running around Kirkwall?

As Robert discovers how jealous he can get of a sibling. Whines to Ned all the time about how much time his brother is spending with Ned's sister and how well they seem to get on AND HE DOESN'T GET WHY. (She will enjoy that very much.) Lyanna would ABSOLUTELY come along. As far away as she can get from Robert, the better. She just wants to be free and not be tied to a man who will never stop fucking his way across Westeros. They'd have so much fun together.

I am super cool with all of the DA things; I can even change my Hawke's first name to Liam, since it makes sense for twins to have similar names. (And I like the name Liam, so.)(Bethany and Carver nonwithstanding.) I'm good with them both working for Athenril, with the other twins taking odd jobs here and there to help out. I am also totally good with Lia romancing Varric, although I can't promise Liam won't make some very snarky comments. (And laugh like a loon when they aren't looking.) We can definitely start when they're still living with Gamlen in quasi-slums, all the tension of ever, lmao.

I'm going to get you a post written for Lyanna very shortly. It's been a week for me, and I do apologize. If you'd like to use PM's from this point, I'm good with it. I also have Discord, for quicker responses, if you'd like that option, too. :)
